I agree, vehicles like this continue performing well even when you raise their battle ratings. If anything, vehicles around 9.0-10.0 typically actually feature less side and roof armor than vehicles between 7.0 and 8.0. It would benefit 6.7s without negatively impacting performance of these vehicles.
yeah, at 8.7 there is very little reason to use it over the Vickers Mk.11
You should really come up with something better, these BR changes are a late April Fool’s joke and the fact that you still don’t have the courage to change naval BR 6.0 to 7.0 and go beyond 7.0 actually shows me how indifferent this company Gaijin is.

RWR - bad (even compared to F-14A), can’t notch with this, just go cold and lose all ur energy in the process. RIP if there are multiple missiles.
It’s only saving grace is the AMRAAMS but the plane can’t make full use of it due to its various limitations such as lack of data link channels, limited ACM range, narrow radar search zone.
I’d take a tomcat over this plane any day. Atleast the tomcat can ripple its ARH missiles and snag a kill or two in early game. JA37Di can’t do that and it is very mid in a fur ball that develops later in match.
Then there are IR missile focused planes (JAS39A and Mirage 4k). They are forced against ARH carriers most of the time. They suffer a lot in the current radar missile meta.

If they plan to change the F-14B, just keep it 13.0 but give it the AIM-7Ps and AIM-9Ms to make it fun to play. Cause the AIM-54Cs are rather… subpar in my opinion. Im not sure what can be done abt that but its alright i guess.
All the top tier stuff should move up 0.7 br in order to decompress 12.0 to 13.0 as well. Facing amraams in a F-4J isnt very fun, especially when youre not done grinding it.

AMX-40 can get moved to 10.0 but they still REFUSE to add it’s turret composites which were directly stated by GIAT THEMSELVES to be there…
Made a report about this months ago which got accepted but they simply refuse to implement it…

With the Rapier moving down to 9.7 a decent line up is forming at 9.7, missing (with the moving up of the FV4030/3) an MBT, therefore I am suggesting we redesignate the Mk.10 as a Mk.11 early, which would give it thermals (Also give it the historically correct L23A1). And we could somewhat ahistorically give it L26 for added punch. And move it to 9.7.
If they reallyyy wanted to they could give it R-73s but i dont know if that is the best idea. Maybe an indigenous iranian Fox-2 would be more appropriate.
So it seems like we have the same experience. The Fakour and R-27R are good, but the rest of the kit falls short. For me, it’s the engines and RWR. I cannot use a set of 12.0 engines and a 12.0 RWR at 13.0. And for me, it’s the reason it’s not 13.0 material. The RWR reliability is questionable (pun intended), and the engines are genuinely some of the worst mismatches on an airframe. Half of the requirements for doing good in a match is if you can get an airspawn or not because the climb rate is that bad. I agree that it needs the fuel tanks though.
For the flight model, I think it’s awesome, but it needs that instantaneous turn that comes with the AoA limit disable button. Other than that I agree.
For months we have been asking for decompression for naval and you can’t make it, because it isn’t air or ground right?

Reasoning: 90% of 10.7 matches are uptiers to 11.3 or 11.7. Love how I can’t even play my 70$ pixel tank because every game I get matched against another 75$ pixel tank (Al-Khalid, Abrams etc…) that can go through me everywhere meanwhile I can’t even breach T-80’s gun half the time or Abrams LFP with my weak shell.
M551 8.3 → M551A1 8.3 (ground RB)
Change the designation to the M551A1 and give it the laser rangefinder (this seems to be the only difference between the M551 and the M551A1).
This will make the tank much more competitive in an uptier, as seen with the M60A2, which shares the same cannon and ammunition as the M551, but also includes a laser rangefinder unlike the current iteration of the M551 ingame. Currently the lack of a laser rangefinder is what makes the M551 extremely lacking especially whilst uptiered having to compete with the likes of the BMD-4.
I believe it would be best to see the performance of the M551A1 at 8.3 before deciding if it will still need to be moved down in BR by the time of the next BR changes.
Also this means that the new M551A1 could stay exactly where it is in the tech tree and not be swapped with the XM800T

See R73 honestly might be worse as i use the current missiles for 2-3km shots from above, R73 struggles to get speed and hit at range a lot. If there is a domestic missile it used then sure but R73 without HMD is not really worth it imo.

AMX 40 going to 10.0 is criminal. We got a botched VEXTRA so it would not go higher than 9.7 to remain in the 9.7 lineup (with other butchered vehicles, say hello to the ROLAND elevation and the AMX 40 armor composite), and then you are telling me it’s going higher in BR ?
If you want to increase the BR of the AMX40, go all in : Give its composite back, put it at 10.3 along side the VEXTRA with its correct shell.

Move Kurnass 2000 down in AirRB. It’s not 12.3 material. Now it’s at the same br as F-18A and F-16 while being phantom with only IR non irccm missiles.
Iran doesn’t really have indigenous stuff. Everything they have is remade American stuff. It should get R-73s.
