Planned Battle Rating changes for April 2025

Before making 13.0 even worse. I think they need to add a 13.3 bracket and decompress 13.0

I know man I’m really trying to make some impact here. Cause at this rate why don’t we just move like every French tank up 2 BR increments(0.6/7BR). If a balanced win rate is what they want that’s what it will take, nothing less. Minor nations have always had better players so they will always maintain the highest win rates of any nation, so they kill unique vehicles like the Type 81C, Amx-40, TKX(P), Merkava’s, etc. to the point of unplayability.

In every previous br change sheet there are pretty much changes that can affect vehicles’ performance in ground and air assault mode and not a single change that can improve the situation of heli pve environment.
For example, after br lifts, the Soviet T-55A which was previously in 8.0 is now in 8.3. The 0.3 br lift means totally different enemy targets in Ground assault mode, since vehicles from 8.3 and above are put in a separate section facing gen3 mbts, instead of '50s heavy tanks.
Helicopter pve battles are divided into 2 parts: 9.7- and 9.7+, and the battle rating is from air sim mode. While advanced helicopters have been added every year and once in one or two updates, gaijin seems to ignore the fact that the sim br and br rules for heli pve are outdated and need to be improved.
While the posts under today’s topic show that players are willing to defend their playing experience, and that gaijin’s balancing and community report mechanics are broken, there is still a part of the game ignored by gaijin staffs and most players, but will greatly affect the experience of grinding for stock vehicle’s parts and modifications. I would like to ask for attention from players and gaijin staff members that battle ratings for pve modes should also be focused.

Reasoning:
Why, just WHY amx-40 going up in BR to 10.0 while being just french version of Leopard A1A1 (L/44) with no line-up at ALL which completely brakes french 9.7 line-up

Lol that’s what they did to the EBR, 25t and some other tanks that moved up to more than +2 from their original BR

Mode: ground realistic battles

Vehicle: ISU-122 5.3->4.7

Reason: it’s slow in every aspect; reload, top speed and turn time. Armor is like on a heavy tank but pointless at 5.3. it also performs similarly to the isu-152 but only having slightly better reload and shell performance

The radar on both of these vehicles are pretty bad but the fact that the 37mm rounds are so much faster and more accurate kinda makes up for it

Darts like 3BM22 rip straight through the Engine from the front, it might stop 105mm Heat but that is about it. At least according to protection analysis.

It’ll still be better than 11.7 Arietes.

If you plan on moving the Kurnass 2000 up in BR.
don’t forget the SU-25T and SU-39 they also have a extremely potent ground loadout

BR change: 14.0→ 13.7

Reason:

The absence of a helmet-mounted targeting system (HMCS) constitutes a critical disadvantage in top-tier aircraft combat. Unlike allied aircraft equipped with HMCS, you cannot access equivalent launch windows. Considering that other top-tier aircraft universally maintain a 14.0 battle rating, particularly noting the American F/A-18CL as an all-around upgraded variant of the F-18C at 14.0 BR, the fundamental weaknesses of this airframe render it nearly nonviable in post-update matchmaking. This essentially negates the intended operational impact of your update efforts.

Tbf i find the 37 to be nice as its works for multirole where i can pen some MBT’s often enough to defend myself where the shilka is a bit more difficult to pull off at times.

literally impossible to kill them with a dart when i last played that BR range. engine stopped all hits

I won’t argue that, both are lacking in the armor compartment and the Ariete is missing the speed crutch the TKX(p) has. But generally in a 1 on 1 the Ariete will perform better cause of DM53.

some of these br changes are out of the blue, like what exactly made you increase the br for T55AM1 and AMD? they were balanced at 8.7, now they gotta face mostly t72s witch they kinda struggle against. if you really think the t55s are too op then why not nerf them? this will make it easier for everyone

Ok that is strange, the Armor is quite hit or miss to be honest, sometimes I can tank a few hits but most of the time lose 1-2 crew members. Also you can shoot slightly above the engine/ below turret ring to “go around” the engine.
