If you’re adjusting all of the sabres and MiG-15s, please also move down the Venom because it already struggles compared to them with its poor acceleration and top speed, and having it at 8.7 sharing a BR with the CL-13 mk5 is pretty rough. Would also be nice to see the Swift F.1 adjusted, as it’s comparable to the F-86A and MiG-15 (non-bis).
Alternatively, just don’t move any of those Korean-era jets down and instead start properly decompressing 9.0-10.3 and give some breathing room for the massive technological leap taking place over it, because you tried moving just the F-86F and MiG-15bis to 8.3 a year or two ago and they kurb-stomped everything. 7.x jets will suffer terribly if these changes go through. This is the MUCH better option!
I don’t think I have to say much for it to be obvious how ridiculous it is for a Meteor to be the same BR as a MiG-15 considering how poorly that matchup went when they engaged each other in the Korean War. I don’t know if the Sea Hawk ever fought MiGs, but I imagine it’d have an even rougher time than the Meteor yet it’s also at 8.0. The Vampire needs to go down desperately, the fact that you think it’s remotely comparable to a sabre or MiG-15 is hilarious. It’s an early jet with terrible acceleration, poor top speed, and its only saving grace is its excellent manoeuvrability. It’s rarely played anymore because of the back-to-back unecessary BR nerfs from 7.3 all the way to 8.0, and if it wasn’t dead already it now will be.
Anything with 30G missiles has no place in the 9.x range. All aspect missiles have no place anywhere below 10.3. Anything supersonic has no place below a minimum of 9.7. The F-104 is blatantly overpowered at 9.3, the MiG-19 and MiG-21F-13/PFM/J-7II are less forgiving but still very powerful. The premium MiG-21s need either their R-60s removed or to go up in BR, and the Yak 38s should not be at 9.3 with 4 R-60s - it either needs to lose the R-60s or go up in BR.
The 9.0-10.3 range has been problematic for years but it’s in the worst state its ever been, you NEED to address this instead of pushing down Korean war-era jets and then moving them back up when they overperform against early jets in this cyclical motion every few BR adjustments. I can’t imagine it’s too hard to shift the entirety of 9.3-12.7 up by 0.3 or 0.7BR as a stopgap, and adjust slightly from there, as it’d keep the matchmaker 1.0BR above and below the problematic space the same, and give you lots more breathing room to make 8.7-10.3 more fair, with a much more gradual change from pure gunfighting with no countermeasures to all aspect 30G missiles with countermeasures. 9.X kicks down to 8.X, that is not a reason to make 8.X kick down to 7.X without addressing the underlying cause of all of this.
Also seeing neglect of the G.91s and J29s in the subsonic 8.X-range adjustments. The F-sabres and MiG-15bises are the heavyweights of 8.7, so it would be nice to see some of their minor nation counterparts get similar treatment.
Not a fan of the T-34s going up to 4.0 in GRB. Their armour is pretty thin and their guns are very mediocre, whenever I fight them it feels like the only thing making them difficult to kill is volumetric, optics and the driver’s hatch. Also not a fan of the Ostwind going down again, it’s going to just get used like a TD and start shredding low tier tanks’ thin armours.
