Planes firing missiles when downed

Right wing its torn off the pilot is punching out immediately in 99% of cases.

yeah if it is torn off.
Is it always torn off if it is on fire? Nope.

Then you should know, it all depends where and whatkinda fire there is.
Heck, I’m not techincian and even I know that.

True techinican

if the plane is literally flaming out on fire the pilot is once again probably punching out and not playing the game of maybe as well. Now a right wing torn off, plane on fire, in a flatspin they are also punching out regardless of whether they have a missile they can fire or not

Enlighten us Mr engineer on why they shouldn’t be able to do this
Cope is not a reason a plane shouldn’t be able to fire a weapon when it’s in a spin.

You haven’t studied yet. go back and do it

Again cope is not a good reason
You clearly got obliterated by someone doing this and are rage posting because of it.

I rather refer on this.
Fire doesnt prevent pilot using weapons, only fire doesnt force pilot to bail out.
Flatspin doesnt make pilot instantly to jump out.
Combination of those will make pilot bail out.

I obliterated him and hes in a flatspin for 10 seconds on fire and half his plane mising

I guarantee you a flatspin is 90% of the time irrecoverable i know it’s hard for you guys in my generation to comprehend physics and have common sense though.

This was fixed, then the soviet mains complained and it was undone about 6 months ago.

Still waiting for them to fix it again

I forgot how much braincell is missing from the dumbest playerbase on this planet

yes cause russian mains need those hands held for their negative kd’s

your generation ?
Sadly you sound more like born in 2000+

And flatspin recovery depends pretty much about altitude, plane and pilot.
( And cause of flatspin ofcourse)

Oh you’re older and missing this much braincell? That’s rough.

Yeah its always the russia main. Nothing new

A flatspin caused due to stalling or similar =/= a flatspin caused due to massive damage. Such as after taking a direct hit from a missile.

A pilot in a flatspin is likely not going to be able to deal with more complex tasks such as controlling the radar to cue it onto a target or maintain headtrack on a target to use the HMD to fire a missile.

If there is damage, such as the aircraft is actively on fire and in a flatspin, then that pilot is almost certainly going to eject, and not sit there trying to fire missiles at a target.

Even in cases where the aircraft isnt in a flatspin, but as taken a significant amount of damage, the likelyhood that the pilot will attempt to or even be able to actually fire a missile is pretty slim.

This is entirely a War Thunder thing, especially an AAB/ARB thing.

They did attempt to fix this via:

but it was undone a week or so later.

Explain it to me how this only affect russia and others ?

Whilst it does occur with a few others. the only aircraft that is truly able to exploit it is the Su-30SM2 thanks to having both very capable HOBS Fox-2s and 3s, and a massive radar gimball.

The aircraft is also very large, so a direct hit doesnt always knock out the pilot, but leaves it in a critical state where it falls from the sky. Still able to fire.

Whilst yes, its not a soviet only issue, the soviets do have the best aircraft to exploit this at top tier by a huge margin.
