I guess we’re advocating for double standards now
Where does Gaijin have differing standards for vehicles bug reports currently?
One of the many examples of where you don’t realize what’s going on in the actual report.
There are genuinely countless examples. I literally had a bug report shot down just a few hours ago by a moderator who literally did not even read my report.
As someone who had like over 30 reports shut down by tech mods before I started getting my reports accepted, they don’t shut down reports unless there’s a very good reason 99% of the time.
What was your report?
Here are two 2nd attempt reports I’ve had to make for inexplicable reasons.

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/SmmZ6o7UvvOo
And for the differing standards, I have watched hundreds of bug reports on specific MBTs be accepted and resolved within days, while I have a list accepted Abrams bug reports have been ignored for up to years for some… and armor fixes to other tanks I have witnessed have been much more complex fixes.
Someone needs to hurry. They got to give Gaijin that one random Brochure they’ll take at complete face value.
In fact, officials state that the PL-12A(E) weighs 214 kg. The PL-12 in the game weighs 198 kg. Theoretically, an increase in propellant is inevitable as the range of the PL-12A(E) is extended.
Of course, I highly suspect that if Gaijin were aware of this, they would only increase its weight without altering any of its propulsion performance.
What? No, there is no pixel measurement in this PL‑12A report. You didn’t even look carefully. Those images are only meant to show “what part this is and what function it serves”. All the figures regarding the missile length come from public sources, not pixel measurements. And just like you said, “I’m just putting the numbers together”.
They do it all the time with China and then people say that theres somehow some China Bias because of stuff like the VT4 but in reality Chinas Tree and Vehicle get treated like crap
i saw your bug report, statshark cant be used to report stuff like that. You need to test it ingame
Honestly, while a more forward grounding socket does deffinitly make it seem like it should have a bigger motor, and I do think its likely it has one; there is still some stuff about it that make it unclear.
So, something I noticed in my own bug reports, motors actually generally have a lower density than other components. So a missile having a larger motor section, and being heavier, while still fitting in the same size seems odd. That being, unless they swapped to a higher density fuel grain material.
This is possible, as there are modern high density compounds which could push the weight up more. But it introduces its own problems, namely, it doesn’t actually get us that much closer to figuring out what a correct figure would be. As with multiple variables changing, theres not an easy way to calculate what the correct performance should be.
This is also assuming it uses the same grounding socket system in the first place, most more modern missiles i know of use internal arming mechanisms instead, which could lead to a socket being placed in front of an arming section. Although I dont know enough about CN missile development to speak on that. Its just a source of ambiguity.
(I should specify, just for brevity’s sake, i am saying this all as personal conjecture of the irl performance of the missile. Without reference to the statuses of any potential or ongoing bug reports).
They did test this in game under this condition.
And it’s ridiculous that the bug reporting manager just says “There is no information on PL-12A”

This missile has literally just shown up 2 years ago on an air show. Is there really a way to get its specific data without going to jail?
PL-12A just can not match with R77-1 and AIM120D in game when it comes to energy performance
If there’s no information, then its up to Gaijin to decide how it performs. There’s no rule that all missiles need to behave the same. If J-15T and J-10C global stats are too low, Gaijin can buff it then
That’s simply not a good solution for PVP game developer if everytime they don’t consider balance in designing stage. I feel like they had never played their own game
A couple developers don’t represent the whole war thunder community. And the PL12A in my games seem to be doing well. We will know for sure when the march statistics come out
PL-12A has way too low energy performance in middle-long range at 14.7 br comparing to AIM120C/D & R77-1 which do have thrust buff or air resistance reduction. MICA is also weaker in middle-long range but it’s carried by rafale which has ridiculously buffed air frame.
