The ammunition chart you mentioned is for the Type 76 cannon. The PGZ-88 uses the Type 74 cannon. They use different ammunition and canโt fire the others ammunition because the ammunition for the two cannons is shaped differently.
Oh god, why do everyone thought the PGZ88 uses the Type 74 Gun? The Type 74 gun canโt have a muzzle velocity of 1000, which is conflict with documents uploaded by you. Just in the 68th floor, there are two pictures of document written in Chinese, which explained why PGZ88 chose the Type 76 Naval Gun as a main weapon
