A Pakistani counterpart to this is the Hawker Sea Fury FB.61

However this was never built and after further investigation it was not even real (rip)

The S13 and B26 (Modified Fokker G.I Mercury’s ordered by Sweden but as the Netherlands were invaded the order had to be cancelled.)

S13-Fokker-G.1-F21-Winter_01-557x254
Its funny, the B26 was a replacement order for the Bréguet 693 attack aircraft previously ordered from France that became inaccessible after France got invaded, interesting for the replacement to suffer the same fate.

Which one? The Hawker or J27?

the hawker lol

Strategic Bombers are DOA.

So lets bypass them and go Antipodal. I can’t see it being a problem to balance…

Mitsubishi F-2A and F-2B Super Kai

Proposed upgrade to all existing F-2s in service of the JASDF, which included the introduction of CFTs, F110-GE-132 EIPE engine, AIM-120, AIM-9X, JHMCS, GBU-31 / 32 and a lot more. Unfortunately never became a thing.

Created a Suggestion for it in connection with the Yeeted to the Developers suggestion season.

Spoiler; Next time I’ll cover the possible future of the JSDF )))

Not all that much naval here so Ill provide some of my favorites

Of course we have to start with the maximum battleship series where we see a real design study for an 80k ton battleship sporting 24 16"/50cal guns in 4 sextuple turrets. Of course the package comes complete with 18" of belt armor and 90k hp driving it up to a maximum of 25 kts… all in 1916

Next we have the United States class carrier. This one was a post war carrier project (that got worryingly far along) for a massive supercarrier. The idea here was to have a ship from which to launch heavy bombers

Last we have a proposed anti aircraft conversion for the Iowa class that armed it with 3 quadruple turrets housing the autoloaded 8"/55 found on the des moines class and a huge 5" and 3" dual purpose secondary battery

Strange design choices in this.

Warrior 105 got built but this about the only picture of it that exists.

mmW/IIR upgraded Mokopa. Idk if it actually got built.

From what we know as of now, Nope.
Might be in some old South African man garage, on the second from the top shelf on the right.

I’m seeing a strange pattern of successful American planes getting Swedenized.

Anyways, here’s the mendeleev tank, it’s a highly advanced WW1 concept proposed by the son of Dimitri Mendeleev.
Screenshot from 2024-07-22 19-35-39

Its front plate is 150mm, its side and rear are 100mm.

It bears the 120mm canet gun and a light machine gun (looks to be a maxim gun)

Top speed is 15 mph (24 kph) with 1.44 hp/t

Crew of 8

It would have pneumatic suspension, the tracks and machine gun turret would both be retractable.

as the wikipedia states:

Mendeleev’s idea of allowing the tank to completely lower the hull onto the ground, turning the tank into a mobile fortress that could bunker down when need be

The initial design is thought to date back to as early as 1898. It was worked upon in 1911, and presented in 1916.

Let’s share something italian, shall we?
