It’s just that suddenly we have the impression that it has become the affair of the century. Yes, no vehicle is realistic in this game. And this since the first vehicle.

ive also not seen anyone with a howitzer to act as a close range frontline brawler in reality yet here we are.
Trying to say “oh if you wanted real realism youd need to wait for orders, etc. etc.” only takes away from the fact that we literally have a rapid 6 second reload fire video on youtube that shows how it should reload. Here.

By your same logic, MBTs with loaders should get tired the longer they are reloading in combat and russian and chinese carousel autoloader should be slower after each shot as the carousel itself needs to turn to get new ammo into the breach. As you probably know thats not how it works in game.

So if there can be some arcade aspect buffing MBT reloads why the f*ck is it so far fetched to give the PzH2000 its actual reload speed. I dont care if it goes up in BR, thats what the goddamn battle rating is for, im however expecting that the reload speed on an autoloader platform is atleast somewhat realistic or close to reality instead of “yep definitely 13 seconds base and 10 if youve spent weeks playing only it or have paid real money to skip it”

In games, many aspects are omitted or simplified.
In reality, you cannot turn a radar on and off every second, FlaRakRad requires outriggers to be deployed, and a tank commander has to open the hatch to operate the machine gun.
Mentioning such procedures in a game is meaningless.

That’s a good argument, rather than saying “reality” every time

This is very messed up, because normal reload rate of the PzH is around 6-7 seconds, while its completly ready autoloader takes only 3 seconds for every shell in a 3 round burst

yea the only “limiting” factor for the loading process is the loader selecting which size powdercharge to put into the breach after the shell gets picked up and automatically loaded. I find it both hilarious and extremely saddening that Gaijin think that our loader needs to think for 7 whole seconds as an Ace or 10 seconds as a newbie to load the only available charge he has after the onboard reload system does its thing.

“Hmmm i wonder where this thing is supposed to go” is the only explanation as to why the goddamn reload is over/nearly twice as long as its mean to be

They dont even relate at all to direct fire shots

the PzH`s autoloader storage is one and complete, and the only thing the loader needs to actually do to change the round is click a button. Idk what Gaijin was thinking with the reload rate but maybe the loader who is putting in the propellant charge is slow on commands or overall kinda retarded. I was very excited to see it coming to WT as an amazing firepower artilery, but now its kinda sad that they ruined its beast reload rate with no explanation whatsoever

Yes because it is an artillery piece and all its development was with the aim of making indirect fire
I would like to know a single commander who would commit a 650 million artillery piece, a crew whose training was expensive, in direct combat against tanks.

But they train direct fire evenif it isn’t used.

Yes, like when I did my classes, you are taught to attach the bayonet to the barrel but bayonet charges have not been done for a long time

Besides they say it at the end, direct fire is only used as a last resort.

The roof MG is stabilized now for some reason, I can’t do this anymore what the hell.

At least the commander’s sight is fixed, only took them like 3 hours after actually going live with this garbage.

are you sure its modeled as three separate blowout panels? I.e. shooting one wont destroy the rest.
The rounds also dont align with the panels on the back, they are too far on the right.

that one didn’t. they changed just charge modling.

issue is that the PZH2000 is missmodeled and incorrectly made, the normal reload rate without the ready shell for burst fire its 6 seconds so not only did gaijin devs nerf it for absolutely no reason but it is an ahistorical nerf wich makes it even worse
