Shame, I guess keeping it up on one of your huds is as good as were gonna get. Still, i do use it on my gr 7 when i dont want to bring the pod to scout out heat sigs to then change to my mavericks… Although, im now just realising the gr 7 gets thermal mavs so i guess thats kinda redundant…
The other use case might be for CCRP. If its still a slewable camera and fixates onto target point, then might be handy tool for confirming you have the right base selected (and if it keeps the DMT functionality, maybe also displaying the laser symbology)
DMT? although one thing that has just come to mind is that it gives you target lead when you lock something. So could be used to sneakily get guns on without alerting them to your presence.
And trying to find bases in sim is a bitch so ill take any help i can that doesnt effect my bomb load.
Harrier Gr7 nose camera thingy
It may, if it gets any lock-on ability and that works for it.
edit: Just tested DMT, can only stabilise not lock on, so cant lock onto aircraft, assuming its 100% C&P over to the GR4, it wont be usable as a shadow EEGS
Thats new as i remember locking onto planes in sim to give me positioning data while closing in on them. Guess it cant lock anymore or the mig 15s in the test drive are just hard to lock with everything.
I think I remember a change a while ago, but not gunna even try and find it.
does anyone knows how fast Brimstone can arrive?
Harrier ability to lock was removed, as it was glitching the TGP (using the same code, huh). Tornado will also lack ability to lock, FLIR was used for flying during the night.
Around 400 m/s + speed of your aircraft (300 m/s) = 700 m/s during peak burn would be my guess. Also they will usually fly down similarly from a drone, so not that bad… but you will want to fly at a slight angle, because you will not be able to fire a lot of them on different targets in head on or you will crash into ground while guiding.
So you choose to ignore the pantsir s1?before armchair strategist,i suggest you to play the game first.
Yeah sure I’ll get right on with that;

Clearly I’ve never played the game Ahaha. I’ve been playing since 2014. Over 7000 hours.
Over 30,000 battles and I’m still going.
I don’t I’d imagine it will be very similar to Hellfires current configuration in that regard.
Well, maybe they will have a better flight pattern, so they will not approach the target with <100m/s speed
And i hope their IOG will work correctly…
The devs have been passed the documentation for Brimstones flight patterns. So there is hope haha. But I’ve not seen the final configuration yet.
Wait, we have docs like that?
