The bigger Problem for me is the Missles going to shit the longer the match goes on. They don’t fly straight anymore but wobble around and mostly don’t hit
In ASB? Yeah thats a bug, some kind of server de-sync when the match length goes past about 1 hour. Happens in Heli EC too. I quit a match after 24 Hellfire missiles missed a stationary target about 4km away whilst I was hovering. None were even close. Though the 9Ls do seem to sometimes have a just a crazy flight path, but I think that is to do with how they handle flares and trying to rapidly swap between targets
I was curious. Would it actually be possible to deploy a weapon like a JP233 in WT
Short answer… No. Gepards are way way over tuned. If they ever got fixed, it might be possible. The rolands are really easy to evade.
Is it just me or is anyone else having difficulty with hitting missiles with the F.3?, it almost seems like whenever I fire them they actively avoid what I locked on
ehhh gepards are short range denial spaas, and i am not sure jp 233 would be deployed on that low of an alltitude, maybe a problem of ai being a bit to strong still. but currently as it stands they propably are underperforming in a players, specialy the gepard 1A2 is missing its FAPDS ammo for increased range and the proxy stingers are bugged since release they cant be equipped
I think it was 500ft, but i wanted to try a best case scenario of ultra low. probably do able but need to conduct SEAD first, ALARM would be ideal but PGMs would work too. would only need to take out a few. Their biggest issue is reaction time. They and the SIDAMs are instant. They start firing at you instantly with 100% accuracy
For that the sim Missle issues need to be fixed first. PGMs also go more stupid the longer the match goes on sadly.
May explain why sometimes they just… dont work
If only downtiers would be more common, same with lazur m, good on down tier, IF it happens. This just shows that the tornados should have been added a good while ago and not together with 12,0 aircraft
Yeah, issue is Br12s only see 11-12 games because they have nothing to be uptiered against. So an 11.3 can only see 12s usually
Except any day gajin might consider 2nd short-range Air-to-Air Missile add AIM-9Li or AIM-9M on Tornado F3 and increased BR to 12.0 or 12.3
Did they even use the 9M? I believe Britian never got 9Ms because they had the Li
Harrier GR7/9, Sea Harrier FA.2 and Tornado F.3 (limited use) had the AIM-9M
Tried 9M on F.3, went back to the modded 9L’s previously used.
On release of the GR.1, we were told that the BOZ pods would not get their full complement of Chaff and Flares due to technical restraints in giving us a mixed pod of 28 flares and 500 or so chaff. It still has not been fixed/amended and there hasn’t been much talk of it. With the GR.1 DOA anyway, at this point it wouldn’t hurt to either a) fix it, or b) increase the decoy count. 56 isn’t really a lot, for top tier at least.
It’s not as if Decoy counts aren’t scuffed anyway (ahem AN/ALE-40 i’m looking at you), could this be reconsidered, or if a separate Chaff/Flare dispense feature is in the works, could we have an ETA on it?
I doubt it is, it is more likely that we get newer ecm pods or newer countermeasure pods that have maws and no problem anymore with chaffs/flares counts
Im hoping seperate flrae and chaff counts this september update, but no confirmations on that. I’ve always thought they should set it as 56 CMs per pod. and lock it too mixed. So you’d have the accurate 56 flares and a low but reasonable compromise of 56 Chaff.
Is actually 600 chaff per pood not 500 btw as well
I’ll ask and let you know.
ahhhh i was thought the 5 and 6 pylon was used r-27, my sorry
