Palmaria: The Island-Sized Slingshot

well now we have to see if the ammunition has a rangefinder and reload or not

A unique italian SPH??? This is a miracle

Did you mean lets see if it has a HE-VT, rangefinder and an autoloader-?

So uhhh-

Is this being added under one of its operator nations, or, like the Vickers MBTs, in turn with Italy as its operator?

Edit: I’ve been informed it is like the Vickers MBTs.

its rank 4 so itll be 7.0 or lower likely, similar to the as90 except it might have a long reload

Itll be a fine addition to my collection along with my pzh and firos.

its will be great indeed, speedy, big howitzer

The 7.7 italian lineup has been getting stronger and stronger (apart from the cl, that thing is a mystery to me as how can something so shit see multiple br increases lmao). This along with the mb, pzh, firos and m47 105 which i god damn LOVE. Looking forward to feature additions.

its pretty peak

honestly i dont get the hate for it, its obviously not the best, but its surprisingly survivable, has great acceleration (something the aubl and fiat lack on anywhere except a road) and while it isnt super reliable for getting kills, if you ever need a lot of assists for a special tasks it will exceed your expectations.

I quite enjoy the c13 its a very good scout tank
I just wish we would get the c13 sidam and c13 with the 25mm autocannon soon

It can be coaxed man, plus just look at the bmp 1 in the swedish tree without the missile sat at 6.7 which i would say is better in every way.

Also, the italian 7.7 is pretty good my guy, the m47 is fantastic all round, firos is fun although i know not everyone has it, pzh is a pzh. May just be me but i find it alot of fun.

yeah most things can, it made sense to me at 7.0 as I feel it is at least better than the aubl 74, but yeah 7.3 is a bit of a stretch

yes I agree, its pretty peak similar levels of peak to 9.3 italy (rip vbc pt2)

Dont mind me, read peak as weak… Apparently i dont have dyslexia but something tells me they might be wrong.

And yeah, 7.0 was bad enough but 7.3 is just plain silly.

Nice to see Palmaria! I would also like to have Hungarian IS-2s to be able to form an awesome lineup for doing different tasks (including heavy tanks) and just have fun playing.

Please don’t ask for more C&P slop when there are still plenty of unique Hungarian vehicles left to add (TAS 44M being the very, very obvious one)

44M TAS would be a miracle to come, since we don’t even have photographs of it, only a scaled mockup, with all honest it’s quite unlikely to be added imo, especially in the regular tree.
Idk what other Hungarian “unique vehicles” you mean, especially at these tiers.
Btw Hungarian IS-2 can actually be at least a bit unique, featuring early armor and DShK machinegun.

Like the other guy said, the 44M TAS sets a very nasty precedent… No thanks.

I’m sorry, but I’d rather have that then continuing the bad precedent that we’re already suffering from: Slop&Paste

It’s only currently bad because Gaijin is dragging their feet to pay the modellers to make new unique/indigenous vehicles. Otherwise, a healthy mix of “copy-paste” (Import/Export, for those with a brain) vehicles and indigenous ones would be for the best…

Entirely fake, fictional vehicles would be stupid (And yes, I support the current ones like F-16AJ and Ho-Ri being removed and replaced with real ones).

And so do I. But the TAS 44M is not fictional. We have documentation, eyewitness accounts, and even a physical part (the rangefinder for the 8cm) still around. We have more prove of its existence then we have of the Ostwind II for example, and that vehicle is considered real enough for Gaijin (Unlike the Ho-Ri’s, which they also want gone).

So no, I do not agree with the sentiment that “the 44M TAS sets a very nasty precedent”. Quite the opposite, in fact: it fully fits an already set precedent by Gaijin (That does not include outright fake vehicles).
