For what? The Ariete is literally a very good tank, with everything great except its armor. Fast acceleration, DM53, 5-second reload, and also a 3rd-generation thermal sight.

the tank is OK: it’s a T-72B3 without the UBH mod, which means it has worse mobility and less armor, while keeping all the good and bad things of a T-72B3, and the only main addition is the Arena-E APS system (which btw is worse than the Arena-M APS system found in the 12.3 T-72B3A).

That is not an argument, you could say that about almost any tank.
Why you using 12.3 rounds against a 10.3 tank?
Anyway you still have a strong UFP even against top tier rounds (the most pen nato have rn).
Now try the same DM53 round against a leopard2pl, merkava 3, or abrams. You will see they have way bigger green areas.

That APFSDS is also on the 11.7 Ariete, and it’s not the best round. It penetrates 620 mm, while the Leopard 2A7V has 650 mm.

Well yeah, the turret and ufp with k5 era are the parts that you can not pennetrate.
And yeah looking at that plo seems arena has better armor.
T-72B3 and T-72B3 “Arena” have the same armor in the same spots.
Literally the only reason of why it’s in a lower BR it’s cuz it doesn’t have the UBH modification.
