And? You still cant take the other tank as a base for your suggestion, since its already a suggestion. And has a 45mm gun, not a 37mm gun. All i have seen in terms of your suggestion are just armed with DTs and the rest mock ups.
You’re welcome!
I would like to add that the NI and KhTZ-16 are indeed separate vehicles. The KhTZ-16 had a definite construction with multiple built according to the same pattern: a casemate armed with a 45mm 20-K mounted on an STZ-3 tractor manufactured at Kharkov. They share a parallel to the NI tank and were indeed made for the same emergency reason, but they are not the same and photos of the KhTZ-16 should not be included as part of a suggestion for the NI. Two separate factories in two different locations. One standardized, the other much more improvised. In fact, between 70-90 KhTZ-16s were built and they saw use in the defense of Kharkov with some success. It is easy to understand how they’d get mixed up, as they’re very similar in their origins and murky source material. But you wouldn’t put photos of the T-72 and T-80 together in the same post just because they look similar and share a similar role.
Just figured I’d throw in some helpful info since the topic was being discussed.
Tel Aviv impressed +111
none photographed in WW2 times were seemingly armed with 37/45 mm guns. So, this vehicle doesn’t exist
Just because it’s not photographed doesn’t automatically mean it doesn’t exist (ie: Ke-Ho). But as far as the game is concerned, built vehicles with no photos, no detailed drawings, and ambiguous descriptions can’t be modeled since there is not a definitive idea of what it would look like.
I agree that a more heavily armed Ni seems dubious, and I would like to see some sort of photo or detailed drawing to validate it, but I still wouldn’t be so quick to 100% discount the possibility.
