I actually found 7M better on the F-14b for the event. Many mig 23s suddenly appear and 7M has quick reaction time.
or even MiG-23MLD vs F-4E, A-7D, A-10A, A-6E
i need to try focusing more on air superiority, for now ive been chaining 30kt strikes one after the other
I found that I was able to take out many F-14s with R-27ER on my mig-29 9-13.
gonna bet thats only as everyones RWRs are being overloaded by five million OSA and BUK systems.
cant tell whats what as it appears the worlds stock of SAMs are all on one battlefield

The F-4E gets AIM-9Ls in the event, it’s fine
The other planes are strike planes, not fighters
They’re just there for their precision strike capabilities and the ARMs
I’m too lazy for the bombers and I use this event for module grind, so yeah, no bombers for me (other than su39 because it has addon guns and digital RWR)
Also I think the 9L and R60M got buffed in this event, or it could simply be many planes slinging them at once.
That’s how the umbrella thingy on the Su-39 becomes helpful
yeah, but if you get some friends, it only takes 17 30kt to take out the main base

what im trying to get at is the game mode is unfair for people who dont have ussr or usa grinded out as you have to vs planes 20 years newer and 100 times better
The R-24s, the radar and the flight performance make up for the R-60s being kinda bad

I don’t think so. The reason why you see player getting so many kills with them is due to the fact that players who have not even reached rank 6 are playing this event as well. I literally had to teach few of my team member how to flare and use weapons them

The trailer also included the MiG-25, but it isn’t a preset vehicle either.
The USSR has the MiG-23MLD, Su-24M and Su-25T as their preset planes

Just use the su25t and wield gun pods. Not good as su 39 due to lack of radar pod and digital RWR but still decent

F-4s out accelerate and out run you. MiGs break up at 790 mph on the deck if not lower. Meanwhile I can push the F-4 to 850 easily
