You literally were claiming F-14 tracking in head on only was wrong earlier.
Not only that, but it entirely ignores the point that a target heading directly toward me and being tracked was not showing up on my scope.

TWS being a pulse doppler mode requires there to be a rate of change in distance and if the target is moving away from an f-14 and that 14 is only gaining on it slowly or not at all it won’t appear in tws
There also was a patch just a couple of minutes ago on my end, dunno if that was just my Steam client doing random stuff tho

@AlvisWisla You are correct in terms of how radar should work, but it does not show up because you are accidentally on friendly only mode on your radar, it’s a very common issue. Click the IFF filter button and it will fix itself.

Having basic evidence denied and being insulted despite having a >4:1 KDR in the F-18A is NOT a fun thing to read in the slightest.
THIS is helpful, because I don’t have that keybound right now so I didn’t ever think to check that.

the novelty wears thin after a few games to just to return to an average TDM to those who’ve unlocked (or bought) meta jets with proper radar and missiles to unlock your B-52/Tu-95 killstreak
So, can we now agree that letting the US side use the F-14s while banning the Flankers is absolutely ridiculous?
The HARM’s seem to behave rather oddly in my experience. Also the BUK seems to be able to just lock and fire at people through hills.
Otherwise though, I am loving this mode and I am sad that it’s not going to be made a permanent fixture.

Yeah, I might’ve fat fingered sometime in the last 2 days and not noticed when selecting a target close to me, but I would’ve never known where the IFF symbol was on the HUD otherwise.
I still don’t intend to use the feature, but at least I know where it is and know that I can accidentally click it when selecting aircraft on the scope.
And no, Mig-29 9.13 is equivalent to at least F-14A.
F-14B has better dogfight performance, but IDK how useful that is.
Its too unbalanced with ppl bringing their own grinded planes. Rediculous kill streaks when these meet the generic and free ones. Its unfair, as usual.
