Dude the target is literally flying perpendicular to you not in TWS but TWS HDN… you know the mode that’s for targets flying towards you… Also those planes fly very slow and are barely even picked up by AESAs in game.
Can’t it be at least a Phantom with working PD radar? Damn.
As someone who never played jets and is only interested in ground and props, what am I even supposed to do? Is there any chance for me to get the rewards? I take off, everything starts flashing, everything starts beeping, and I’m dead in 30 seconds at best. No one is even remotely in the range of me being able to lock on my missiles.

I don’t think you understand how radar works
It doesn’t matter, you can tell it’s tracking but nothing shows up on the scope itself so you’re blind.

When they start flying towards you they show up
Well targets that are moving away from the an/awg9 often don’t read at all

it didnt work like that IRL theres no evidence its like that its just a guess as no one has sources on the F14s radar
also F4J has older HDN radar and its ACM is 12 miles and the F14s is 6 miles
literally caused any computers near it when it flys by to brick them selves the most powerful radar in a interceptor for next like 20 years till like late F15C variants nothing could match it
