That’s the problem, not everyone grinded it, which puts you at a disadvantage compared to everyone else. It is absurd that the MiG-23 has to face much more modern and capable airframes than it.

How about we don’t remove the F-14, you get the Su-27 and Su-33

Doesn’t fix the actual problem, but still, better than what we currently have
Flogger is still very capable for the kind of planes it faces, tbh the “only” bad plane would be F-4E, and it isn’t even that bad cuz it got AIM-9Ls to balance it.
what Gaijin could do is to give newbies 4th Gen fighters so “people who have grinded them” don’t have an “advantage”.

It was a Su-25. The Su-25 is subsonic, so in your F-4E you could EASILY catch him. In that situation, i would have used another heatseeker. If it failed, i would have gone for guns on him.
In the same situation, if a Su-25 dodges your guns, don’t turn with him. Just keep on flying and gain distance. He’s way more slower than you, but also he’s more manouverable than you. Also always try to avoid head-ons against those, their guns are mean!
It should be opened up, so lame not being able to fly a Tornado in SEAD like event.

You mean like beyond the special aircraft or beyond the presets. Because imo everyone should be able to get preset loadouts for the planes available to play especially with the nation lock. For example everyone should get 4x Aim-7F and 9L at least on the F-15A. I just don’t like the idea of thinning out the options when we’re already limited to a small era of planes in 2 nations

The playing field should be even, there would be nothing wrong with letting people use the planes they own, as long as they are the same ones as the preset ones

Got it, dont get in a dogfight or head on with a su 25. Thank you for the answers and actually helping instead of calling it a skill issue, I’ll will probaly play the event again after school and try your advice. Have a good one
Can’t let people bring superior British engineering, that would be unfair
