Genuinely the worst event Gaijin has ever put out. it is completely unfair and not fun one bit if you haven’t grinded up to the top tier in those respective nations.
I feel ya. I got domed by an Aim9L from an A10 4km away while spamming flares in a harrier once.
I will never forget.

Such a slog man…
AIM-9L is 70s missile man why are people even arguing this
I’m really enjoying it tbh
nah the problem is that the game is so buggy my MiG-29’s radar gets crazy when enemy is flying in a straight line like it has parkinson (or whatever it’s written, i’m not american).
i can’t use R-27R (since i didn’t spade the Fulcrum yet) cuz radar lock is unstable and i only have 2 R-73s which somehow get one flared in head-on but AIM-9L doesn’t???

Very fun event, very fun gamemode, very, I hope its stays as an official gamemode after the event. There is absolutely no reason for this to be a one time thing.
But I think there is a fire in the servers, barely managed to log in the game and there is some rubberbanding and packet loss when in battle. Now, it could be my internet, altho I don’t get such issues anywhere else, but there is a also massive influx of players and a huge interest in this event so it makes sense for there to be some issues.
chat, ECM, ARM and strat bombers is cool and all, but when are we getting modern naval vessels, i want agies, and combined naval, air, ground games
fair enough, but why doesn’t it have it in the real game then? it’s pretty much one flareable just like R-60M and AIM-9J.

probably due to balancing, if it got 9Ls it would probably have to be moved up in BR making it practically useless
How the hell are you supposed to switch what the ARMs target? They just lock onto things off in the middle of nowhere and never the SPAA that is actually looking at you
11.7 wouldn’t be too bad, and F-4S/J should get it too if F-4E can.
alt+c
