The BUK/HAWK would hit you first if you fly high enough when you enter the frontline.
You can somewhat kill rolands or other US side SPAA but the OSA will shoot anything you throw at it and also kill you in the process if you are within 10km.
If playing US I don’t bother farming round unless im using nukes

it’s always pretty deranged, but yeah, I’m no fan of the “fighter mafia” but the game mode used to give you options of PvPing or PvEing, granted the interception abilities of the SPAA made PvP easier, but they haven’t fixed that, just made PvP less profitable to force PvE
Yeah, I just did a sneak run on the Buks in my A-6, got right up to em dropped 3 2000lb’ers and got vaporized by an OSA along with my bombs…

Yeah, it’s incredibly frustrating. I gave up on doing conventional groundpounding because the SPAA is just too powerful. Not to mention the Buks and S-300s completely locking down the altitude so the literal only avenue of attack you have is scraping your ass on the ground the entire way only to die anyway because multipathing is a myth.

Actually altitude wouldn’t work because the aa will just intercept anything you throw at it
I played my favorite city costum battle yesterday
And stopped because a group of shilkas just ate all my paveway 3s has in multiple
I avoid them like the plague flying like 3m above the sea, besides that i rely on prayers that they suddenly don’t activate wallhacks
Problem is that i can bypass the OSA doing that but the BUK doesn’t care about not being able to see me

You could at least get GBU-8s/AGM-65s/AGM-62s/KAB-500Krs to lock without having to deal with the trees.

I’m starting to understand the craziness with the SAMS for this mode, to keep it being easy mode getting Nukes. But the radar detection rings on the long range systems needs to looked at. Plus the sides need a little discouragement for easy flanking like one or two frigates on the coast and a mountain outpost for detection.
Also with the suicide bombing with the MiG-23s, I think they should up their Nuke by a 100sp.

Balanced in Realism, no. As a military enthusiast it annoys me they have SPAAs with every unit when in reality they were rare. But if you think about it, if they weren’t that annoying for NT, then it be easy mode bombing with nukes.
So they got a lot to work on if they’re doing this event in the future like addressing the SAM radar issue, easy mode flanking, and the suicide bombers on the Russian side.

And it would not “be easy mode bombing with nukes”; you seriously, genuinely, legitimately, sincerely, beyond a shadow of a doubt believe there would be absolutely ZERO players running interception? You are VERY, VERY, VERY sorely mistaken.
SPAAs are annoying and broken, and I for one am a proponent of lobotomizing them to the point of near uselessness if it means I get some peace and quiet trying to dogfight. People are going to suicide bomb either way, overpowered SPAA isn’t going to change that. If you think it is then I have a warm and sunny summer resort in Antarctica to sell you.
How come? F4E in RB doesn’t have the 9L, if R73 get’s added it’s for balance. 23MLD lacks with it’s air to air loadout.
BTW when i play USSR… ALWAYS lag . ALWAYS. Not one game without.
