Dumb question, but how long does it take those SAMs (including SPAA) to reload? Or are there just a shit ton of anti-air so we barely notice the ‘pause’ to reload? Lol

oh yea 100% but its the fact russias best jet at that br is banned, and itss f14s, f15s, 16s, f/a18s, and they have AIM9Ms and fox 3s, or a way better radar and airframe compared the yak141 and mig29, its also unfair placing those jets against mig23s that have the worst rwr at that br range, and have rlly bad IR missiles bad SARH missiles and a non-pd radar
they’re not useless, you’re using them wrong, i launch them from 3-4km and i have a 90% kill rate

Only the F-14 has ARHs, the F-15A has Sparrows and so does that F-18. Also the free jets are just either HARM launchers or Nuke throwers, treating them as the best option when you can bring your own aircraft in is a bad idea
The gamemode is very similar in structure
too much anti-air to notice and plus most have dual batteries, or there are 3 in one spot so it gives the illusion of no reload
This is making last years event feel amazing.

and they have PD radar, better SARH missiles, better airframe and better IR missiles than their russian counter-parts and doesnt help when su27 and su33 which carry a similar amount of missiles to the f14 is banned
I wish Gaijin would learn to not allow top tier vehicles into these events…

Alright, so I’ve never touched jets and my air experience is limited to ground arcade air event and naval.
How are people like me supposed to properly participate in this gamemode?
This seems like a designated seal clubbing event, unlike all previous April Fools events, with non USSR/USA top tier player receiving inferior equipment, while non air player not even knowing what they are doing, which is necessary for enjoyment in complicated gamemode, no tutorial, 1000000 radar settings and keybinds.
Who decided this was good idea, to make game mode for only one type of player? This is favouritism and very discriminating.
But enough complain, I like large bomber only not care for dog fight and desire them for naval, how does non air player grind efficiently? Do you fly low for multipath, spam flare, chaff to be annoying after find keybind then bomb and crash into base?
SL is not problem.
Any tip welcome, will share to others and other readers of this thread may see too.
Also suggestion: Why cannot have other mode with nuclear device in artillery shell, USSR/China (152mm 3BV3 shell), NATO (155mm W48 shell/203mm W33), or naval shell from Iowa W23?
I love nuclear weapon and this event should be just and fair celebration for all, not only for air player…

no? its an alpha test, ECM doesnt work properly, proper EW/EA supports needs to be added, and balance needs to happen, april fools events are alpha tests for future mechanics and game modes, this is very unfinished, why would it stay

the Flankers have 6 27ERs, which are known to be the best SARH missile ingame by a long shot, the F-14 has 6 missiles that are larger, slower and pull far less. The Yak and MiG are just fine

This Event is not worth the effort, atleast in regular events you get a excuse to grind some tech trees and u make SL simultaneously, this event is opposite, it’s a losing game.
I saw videos of old April fool Events thinking this year will be good one too but it’s the worst

Did you forget that the F-14 IRIAF is also allowed?
Because that missile is much faster than the R-27ER
you cant keep a hard lock in this game mode due to the f14s, and insane AA, so fox 3s are kinda needed, also the fakour 90s are far better than the r27er, faster, has a slightly higher g pull and its ARH
You aren´t because the main thing about these events aren´t to rewards the players. These events are made to test new mechanics but without rewards none would test them.
