BVV did luckily say that sams would get an update to their ai, so hopefully this will get fixed once it becomes a permanent mode

This event in my opinion is really quite shit and for me zero fun.
Last match yesterday i died 90% to OSA and Rolands. Some times you don’t even see the missiles.
Not that it would make a difference since they can skim the ground below tree level.

i try to use the ARMs a lot to get rid of them, but they intercept way too many and sometimes my HARMs go into space
These stupid SAMs are way too OP. I’d rather fight other people, not the damn AI that UNREALISTICLY good. wth… Why does every good thing in this game HAVE to have something that makes the good thing useless?

I wish the devs swapped out the A6 TRAM for the F-111F, as the former is completely outmatched in every regard by all aircraft present in the game mode unfortunately.

or just somethign with gps guided bombs or more tv guided stuff
laser guidance is unusable with the omnipotent sams everywhere
makes no sense to have an air battle with a million SAM sites all over. This is stupid.
In the case of the USA the HARMs are the way to go, otherwise it’s either the AGM65Bs or just straight up death, cause the Osas make no mistake in their guidance.

The GPS stuff is all good if you’re targeting static positions, but the convoys move and they move fast, so you’d be better off with HARMs on those
More than once now I’ve joined a match to have it end the second i get into the lobby.
Or is about to end in 10 tickets time, guess what I get for not joining? Crew locked.
it’s really not fun flying at treetop level and avoiding SAMS the entire match. This sucks!
you can run SEAD against them. Big SAM sites like BUK/HAWK and Patriot/S-300 do not respawn and this will open the skies for your team

You have to get closer, if they aim at you they are not aiming for the ARM

Oh hell no, giving the US side an F-15E even without any weapons would be stupid.
There is the perfectly viable F-111F which could have been the Su-24 counterpart.
