I’d argue a change to the gamemode would be forcing players to knock out all frontline airfields and AI units before attacking the main base. Also giving access to the Tu-95 and B-52 with regular bombloads to do high altitude strikes would be nice. It forces players to actually cooperate and focus on a larger goal than just trying to be the fastest to 2500 SP.
Adding onto this, having the large nuke be available for smaller strikes instead of only reserving it for the main airfield could make it more interesting.
Whatever works for each player 👍 I greatly prefer CCRP so I can get the nuke exactly where I want it, especially using medium nukes on airbases were a slight miss can leave the airbase not destroyed.

Just joined the match that lasted whopping 1 min 13 seconds, gaijin really should block the joining after few minutes.
They need to allow spawn points to escort nuke plane over enemies final base. Camping for B52s to TUs is too easy. Wipe out all airfield, wipe out all Patriots or S300s unlock escorting B52 or TU planes to their final destination.
Same way you avoid the Roland’s.

the team kills costing us players 22,000+ lions because are aim 9 sidewinder lost track and killed a freindly when you are hot in combat almost screwed me out of all my lions today
i think i lost 68,000+ lions because 3 of my sidewinders when aimed at a target KILL A FREINDLY AFTER IT RELOCKED As WELL AS THE RUSSIAN STUFF FEELS LIKE IT IS A GENERATION HIGHER THEN THE US RENTAL WE HAVE
HO AND ADD THAT US PAYING 2,000+ lions on any of the rental aircraft so we can just get up and shot down again makes it hard for me at least to continue playing nuclear thunder even though i want the b-52h baddly i still want to be able to SHOT STUFF BECAUSE IT IS HARD COMING FROM PROPS TO JETS AND THEN IT COSTING ME 2,000+ lions to just go up and get shot out and 2,000+ more again because of not owning any of the jets

Add the F-111F default to the nuclear event. F-4E is not an ideal competitor against the MiG-23MLD.

In sim battles the 22k would’ve been 66-100k 🥴 you learn real quick there

If gaijin doesn’t want to make AA deny high altitude, the solution to balance this gamemode is:
1-Remove external planes
2-Find a Russian aircraft that the F-4E has equal footing at lower altitudes, since bringing a more advanced F-4 ends in complete massacre for Russia and without them is a massacre for US. Because “AIM-9L better than R-60!” while they ignore the Mig-23 can use the R-24, a better missile than the AIM-9L and which 2 of them are more valuable in the scenario Nuclear thunder pushes than AIM-7s and even then both of these aforementioned IR missiles will eat the first flare they see.
They also pull the argument of F-4E being a better nuke carrier, it has to be, Since it needs to cover the SU-24’s and Mig-23’s roles because F-4E is the only supersonic US recieves in the free preset.
Both sides are victims of people bringing external aircraft to club newbies on free presets.
First it was US with F-14s, F-15s yada yada.
BRs were split, and now apparently one side needs to club the other on 1 BR bracket and viceversa (USSR on lowr bracket and US on higher Bracket). Just remove external aircraft, because they were 500% not tested and done.
You can’t play your X plane? cry about it, maybe actually try to outplay your opponents, its not like everyone has 500k hours on WT, is free event, where even someone who barely is past rank I can play.

agreed and make it where after a aim 9 losses it track and team kills a player it don’t cost 22,000 lions because it killed someone even though you don’t lock on them
