i have my match at like 11;30 the friday night i had 7 su-24 with nukes and 5 mig-29 9.13 as our escourt and we got attack bye f-15 of half off there team over bye the baser 2 off of the sea and we all died witch sucks
ill say that yes the usa players are considerably worse than the russian players, but i honestly think thats because usa teams are so op its forcing russian teams to play around them. they do not need to buff the usa planes.
im literally watching russian teams focus on nuking airfields and map control while usa teams just fly directly to the exact same airfield

Um I don’t like the fact that I’m below sea level vs hawks/flaraks and some how someway they depress so hard that they could probably see hell and manage to shoot like 9 missiles from 1 Roland (not bsing look at the clip from earlier) and smite me before I can get a kh 58u off
To be fair, when I play US rushing russians is the most fun all the way to their air field. Then once 30kt is unlocked I J out and get to work or my team is going to lose.
You use dumb bombs with high drag or you’re never going to get them. Fly low, fly fast and fly looking cool in case you need to clip it
yeah, and thats the best way to get score, but thats not the event and doesnt give any data on how the game in the future might play

I say only guns and only bombs. Give people the most close agile planes and it will be balanced. Tired of people crying about their missiles at .3km when they have 600 reasons to shot the enemy down.
All I hope for is that we get this for 13.7 - 14.7 Air and that they adjust the AA…don’t want them to easy but they should have the limitations we do! Also ground striking needs to give a good amount more points then air to air kills…with the exception of shooting down someone that has a Nuke XD
Killing them seems to degrade S-300 acquisition range. S-300 still have both a “Flap Lid” and “Big Bird” radar at the battery though, and those for some reason are a pain in the nuts to kill with ARMs, but the S-300 launches a whole lot less once Nebo is gone in my experience.

Not everyone has top tier planes researched in US and Russia so a lot of the players rely on the free lineup.
Russia in this event has the objectively better free lineup.
Russian SPAA are too powerful in the event.
And making an april fools event where you have to rely either on your own vehicles, which you most likely dont have because they have to be top tier, or rely on some arbitrary Russian-biased lineup that Gaijin comes up with isnt indicative of a good april fools event.
And you gotta consider that Russia got a pretty competitive event plane for that BR range, namely the MiG-25, for free 3 moths ago.
Oh yeah, I noticed how easily the red side gets past all the SPAA barriers and flies over enemy airports.
Man, please fix those Osa systems, for the love of God ! I can’t take it anymore… Those things hit you even when you’re hugging the ground, almost crashing your jet into the terrain, and flares don’t work against them. It’s absurd.

Old feels like it’s cheating if the other guy is good at tracking you, while new is kinda pathetic outside of optimal range (around 50% of max). And yeah, the reason why it feels like the SA-8 is impossible to dodge kinematically is because it kinda is. Old ATGM flight model was (and still is) basically a guaranteed hit as long as you kept the crosshair on the target, and guess what radar screen is really really good at? With things as they are if one pops up nearby at less than 7km you are guaranteed to die if you do not immediately run away from the launch to bleed the missile of energy.
I really would like for them to also increase the time it takes for the SA-8 to reload six missiles. Player versions of that system take a fair amount of time to reload after all weapons are expended, so the AI should too.
Additionally, making the respawn timer for SHORAD systems such as Gepard, ZSU-23-4, Roland and SA-8 something like 2 or 3 minutes rather than ~20 seconds is really needed.
It’s not as if they’re uncounterable but they are very frustrating to fight against. There is so much going on that even a minor lapse in judgement/loss of focus turns into a death instantly.
As an aside, has anyone here managed to kill a “Nebo” radar with guns? I tried it recently and it just shrugged it off like nothing. I know there’s nothing explosive inside that thing or any people in it, but pulverizing the base+internal electronics with 20mm fire should take it out fairly quickly.
Edit: have tried to strafe the US counterpart radar to “Nebo” and it also doesn’t die to gunfire (23mm). This probably should change, riddling these big radars with holes will total them IRL, especially without people nearby to go and attempt fixing them.
There’s nowhere to run and nothing you can really do against an Osa or Gepard and even when you do everything perfectly, it still hits you with what feels like 100% accuracy.
I want a nerf to this thing in this game mode. It’s not fair, it honestly feels easier to dodge flak than an Osa, and I don’t even know why. It’s just way more manageable. I’m not asking for anything crazy here, it’s not like I’m asking to have the Yamato added as a playable unit off the coast of the map…
I just want something SIMPLE.
