Replace the ZSU’s with this! I mean, ZSU has autocannon, SM-SV has autocannon, same=same!
I mean that also gives cart blanche to go and add the top fighters with ECM and advanced RWRs that can direct ARMs or GPS bombs, plus stuff like AARGM-ER and SCALP with internal jamming system, plus a ton of other super modern stuff that won’t be pretty for the Pantsir 2
How about for the AI SPAA instead of them guiding purely on SACLOS they instead guide using their tracking radar? Essentially like using the fire control display and having it follow the target by itself.
That way you can actually notch and use chaff to defeat the OSA’s and FlaRakPz’s and have them be susceptible to their radar limitations.
But also expand this to all AI SPAA like the ones used in Air Sim and RB that defend airfields.
Dude, I have the Pantsir SM-SV spaded, we do NOT want that monster in Air Battles 😂 The main missiles go MACH 5 LOL! You think you don’t have time to dodge the AI super aim right now? HAHAHAHA!
And the SM-SV’s autocannons make the ZSU’s auto’s look like peashooters!
ZSU = 4x 23mm @ 850 rounds per min
SM-SV = 4x 30mm @ 1250 rounds per min
AARGM-ER can also come and hit you from well over 150km and flies significantly faster than standard HARM (that is already pretty quick for an ARM). It won’t care if you don’t sit still or turn the radar off, it can still find you. Pantsir II is super strong but there exist modern weapons (not implemented, ofc) designed to counter it and ones capable of countering it that exist already.
I mean, imagine trying to deal with a Rafale duo that just keep throwing AASM at you, jamming your radar and missile datalink and never needing to sit still and point your way to engage. Or EF2000s that just pop up from behind a hill to throw 18 f&f MMW brimstones at you and disappear, while other jets in the area also fire HARMs or AARGM at you trying to defend yourself.
Things can get much much worse for SAM systems in this game.
I agree, the SAMs are insane intercepting everything. Seeing through hills and treetop level, RWR is a constant alerts. You can’t even tell if someone fires a Radar Missile at you because of the spam.
And as mentioned above, people are now suiciding down the middle for easy points to get nukes then suicide the airfields.
Guys, how i use the f4 phantom radar, i mean, i have no trouble with the mig23 radar but i cant make a single freaking lock with the f4 radar and is really anoying because i cant use my aim7’s
Then go camp the bomber spawns, or just spawnrush the airfield over and over for an hour. I could care less. One more person behaving like that won’t make the mode much worse.
F4-E is supposed to hold the advantage at higher altitudes to having more radar missiles than the Mig-23 without sacrificing IR missiles for upclose.
