The f4j and s do outclass the mig 23 even with the mig23 being able to lawn mow and still target with IRST.
Airfield looks amazing, is it possible to keep it and include it in more maps, looks really good and is also very realistic

This is a real issue, end game and final nuke dropping is too predictable most of the time people can simply camp it. Apart from that, the jets without drop tanks is brutal if you lost most of your airfields making you play defensively all game by your main base, so the enemy has to go back and forth with nukes bombing ammo depots that don’t take enough tickets to expedite the game progress.

I have my own aircraft at the tier and I get 10 minute crewlocks if I leave one of those matches that’s already lost.
you know what I would do if I saw someone camping airfield? Spawn at a different airfield

That’s generally what I do but both sides are too call of duty brained
I genuinely don’t know where this “airfield camping” issue comes from because I’ve never seen it happen a single time, even when every other airfield was lost
Begining of each high tier lobby there is a conga line of mig 29s blitzing the middle airfield and then brain dead ppl who don’t stop spawning there. They just feed the mig 29 horde til they have enough sp for su24 30kt and tu95

Had a match earlier which ended not even five seconds (no joke) after I joined because of ticket depletion from destroyed main airfield.

Now on day 3, I’ve found the event a horrible experience. Perhaps it’s more fun for skilled, realistic high-BR players, but for me — and I bet many others — it’s been a nightmare.
Trying to get a radar lock on enemy fighters: nigh impossible.
Opponent just flare every time you fire a Sidewinder/R-60 at them.
The AI AAA is overly capable.
The only fun part of the event is when you manage to bomb something with a nuke.
Apart from that, this is one of my least favourite events.
Been playing War Thunder for over 12 years.

Iv played only 2 full games of f4S, from maybe 20 i joined. both nukes. Its like fighting bots. The game-mode is piss easy but, well iv already moaned enough so il leave it there

Alternatively they could restrict the Su-27 to only have 2 ERs

i do the same and still get put in a match that ends in 5 minutes, its actual torture
