Or forcing everyone to use the lineup provided. I got into one of the few early games where (most) people were only using F-4s, A-6s, MiG-23s and Su-25s. It was great. Everyone stands an equal chance of killing everyone and the only adjustment that was needed was the OSAs/FlaRakRads need to be a little less insane (and more vulnerable to ARMs)

Using a custom hangar.
hangar.blk (41.9 KB)
hangar_field_mission.blk (33.3 KB)
Place those into your game directory like this.
Then copy:
hangarBlk:t=“hangar.blk”
And paste it into your config.blk file, like so.
You’ll know if you’ve done it right if the hangar is the old one and it will appear on the right side where the premiums would show. Go to the US tab to see the B-52H and Russia for the Tu-95M.

waited 10 minutes for a match, got close to an enemy convoy, 2km before im able to launch rockets at it my PL spikes to 80 and i start lagging like hell, died instantly after that
I don’t how to use radars, I don’t know how to notch, I don’t know basic missile combat.

I suck at ARB but man is frustrating to almost nail a plane only for a friendly osa to splash it at the last second

Uh no, Mig-23’s MTI mode means you can lock the R-24 missile while the Phantom can’t lock you because ground clutter prevents even his ACM mode from being able to get a lock. Just did a match and got 6 kills vs Phantoms and only died twice against them. Really not that hard to beat them. If it was the 12.0 Phantom then there’d be a problem as it at least gets a PD radar.
Is it though? Sounds just like your typical WT event.

because we get future stuff in april fools day events, last few events we’ve had dynamic weather and inf, and look whats coming, we’ve had missile april fools day events in the past, rank IX events and so on, they’re just alpha tests for future mechanics
I would very much like to bring my Su-33 to level the playing field but alas.
Like I said in an earlier comment, I didn’t grind Russia nor US much, Russia I’m at 9.0 if you don’t count the Su-33 and the Mig-25PD, and at the US I am 7.0 if you don’t count my F-106.
If I could bring Britain though I would be hunting those SAM systems with PGM-2000s, GBU-15s on the F-111 and also doing CAP with the Tornado F.3. This event seems like the perfect place to spade the F.3 late though lol

Yeah, that would have been fun. Though assuming they just wanted to deal with the fewest number of ARM possible, a Tornado ASSTA1 with 4x AGM-88 would have also been fine.
