All you gotta do is run IR all aspect and catch them slipping other than that close the gap
should I take rockets or bombs?
Yes, absolutely. Check out the reply I made just above 😉 You REALLY want to setup CCRP. Especially for dropping nukes once you build up enough Spawn Points.
Go into a test flight and try it out. Plenty of premium planes that are high enough to test with. My reply with links to video instructions: Nuclear Thunder! - #3528 by SilentTracker
The Premium F-4S is probably a good one to test. As you will be using the built in F-4E to drop nukes anyway: F-4S Phantom II | War Thunder Wiki
Yeah you get an absurd advantage as a high tier player, and that is not even counting the difference in experience. Low tier players need better default planes for sure.
I am a bit short on time as I cannot play the game all the time, just thought the bombers look cool and I should not miss them
Cannot watch tutorials rn :(
It says, every stage needs 7700 mission points, this shouldn’t take a lot of time, right?
Like 1 hour of gameplay?
The CCRP video is 5 mintues long. The event matches last up up 1 hour 30 minutes. You have time to watch a short video. If you want enough mission score to get the event planes you are going to save hours and hours of time watching a 5 minute video.
You are going to struggle immensely trying to use the nukes in the event without using CCRP.
And CCRP makes using dumb bombs much easier too. You can set the CCRP point on the map. Fly low until close, hold bomb release button, angle up sharply. Once bombs release, turn hard, dump chaff and FLY AWAY.
Thanks
It’s very possible to do in one game (1h), but you’d need to be like top ~30% of the team I think. As someone new it might be 2 or even 3h.
By 1:02:49 in the US queue, the USSR mission is already done.
That’s alright, I just don’t have to get them in one go
Even if I miss the first stage I can still get the aircraft
did i predict this april fools event ?
i made this post like a year ago its kinda close to what they did
Don’t worry about clearing the first stage, wait for next stage, you’ll still get the aircraft
bravo!
The only other event I have grinded is the R400 one and it had ridiculous mission point requirement for each stage ngl
Really happy they didn’t made it like 35,000 mission points each
if the br stays the same the naval battle EC will be interesting if this allows
It’s 8.7 for Tu and 8.3 for B-52 right?
It’s not that hard IF you build up to 250 Spawn Points to bring in the small nuke, fly towards enemy territory locate one of the supply Depots / fuel depots, set your CCRP point in the middle of one of those depots. Get within about 5 km, pull up sharply while holding the CCRP bomb release button, wait for the new to release Turn Away dump chaff.
Go back and land, grab another nuke, repeat until you get 500 spawn points. Then, spawn in the medium nuke and try to bomb one of their air Fields if possible. If there’s too much enemy air cover just keep bombing those Supply depots.
You really only start to get a lot of mission score points when you start using the nukes. That is why it is so important to spend a little bit of time setting up CCRP. It is totally possible to finish one task in one or two missions if you can keep running nukes.
Without using CCRP, you are going to die to your own nuke almost every time you try to drop. Thus, losing all of your spawn points, which will prevent you from getting another nuke. When you land and rearm you get another nuke without using more spawn points.
My previous reply with CCRP, airplane radar and air to air missile instruction videos: Nuclear Thunder! - #3528 by SilentTracker
If you’re able to drop the nuke and not die to it (I recommend an immelmann) and rtb to rearm you get another nuke for no sp
Is it possible to rearm the B-52? I’ve tried to land it once but it’s impossible to bleed enough energy.
