I just fly head-on towards enemy fighters with all-aspect IR and fish for kills in the middle with MIG-23MLD or the phantom.
Might take a few respawns, but it’s self sustaining afterwards unless you’re unlucky and someone shoots you down after getting the nuke.

I don’t get how so many people are calling this mode great. Conceptually it is pretty good, but goddamn is the execution for this event terrible.
People were complaining about Air RB being too much TDM and this is somehow better? Just mindlessly respawning over and over again to fly at each other in the center of the map?
Well, Ground AA essentially keeps you from dogfighting anywhere, but the center of the map, due to them being overtuned af. It all boils down to missile spam and die, repeat - because who cares about reserving your resources when you can respawn 10 seconds after dying?
To top it all of, anyone who doesn’t have vehicles at BR 13 for these nations gets shafted so hard it’s genuinely impressive they somehow thought this was ok to release as it is. Absolute banger of an April Fools event.
At least last year everyone received the same vehicles to play their grind mode, but not this time.
Next year we’ll have to buy a premium pass to even access the event.
this happens basically every time theres a ground event but in reverse with everyone queing USSR, its been like that for years.

Can we get NWS for every other plane that have it now? Given the B-52 have it working and it allows me to taxi around the airfield without any problem.
oh also a message to those that says “Muh Russia side is weak”, you have the Mig-23MLD with its PD radar inside the roster against the F-4E which doesn’t have a PD radar and has the 7E as its best missile against the R-24R. So please, don’t be annoying

You mean there is F-16,F-15 and F-14 against MiG-29 with 2 ERs with virtually unusable blind radar.
I felt like buying the F-18C for USA, but realizing it is 80 euros and its gonna be 50% off in a month, I thought “nah im not falling for your tricks gaijin merchants”.
Them setting this up on purpose like this, discouraged me too from buying a premium airplane.

They don’t intercept ANY dumb munition.
Meaning, you can use dumbfire rockets (like zunis) + CCIP to hit them from afar. I can’t attest to PERSONALLY trying this, but others cite it as quite effective before you unlock the 5KT nuke.

Hey @Smin1080p_WT , could you guys let us have the nukes to use in test drives only? They are so cool and it would be awesome to still have them testable.
Default planes are fine.
The issue is that players can take any plane into the mode meaning you get a swarm of F-15s just dominating everything while your Mig-23ML relies on the F-15 being stupid.
We need the mode to restrict to only the pre-set planes and it’d be great.
