In my personal experience when I try doing that I keep getting shwacked by Rolands seeing me through trees and using some magical terrain avoidance missiles.
But I should mention that I’ve also had success with that because occasionally Rolands just, don’t wanna fire.
Your plane recognizing a missile but it’s not actually aimed at you, just your general vicinity, it’s normal.
You should be able to place car tires on its wings tbh, you know for protection…

It will have done, but by virtue of you not flying straight, level, and in an position where the missile can actually hit you, it’ll most likely miss.
(Exceptions apply)
It might be firing on an ally and your RWR might also be detecting the FC radar too.

Yes, it’s true that at the very beginning of the game it might be a bit too crowded, but once you get through the first 10 minutes with the cannon, it’s manageable, I think.
I use this preset to grind SP and spawn nuke and its works fine (SU-39)
I wish there was a dislike button because I would push it a couple of times for this event. I know the devs will not ready this, not even glance over because if you make a separate thread they will lock it but I do not enjoy what they have done:
- The even is clearly for realistic jet air battles players, anyone else will feel left out.
- If you are not a main of USA/USSR, you are at a major disadvantage since you are stuck with the “stock” planes they provide.
- The research points are wasted since you will not have rank VI-VII to research anyway
- You will end up burning silver since you will be no match for MiG29/F14+
- The learning curve is quite steep for those who had no interaction yet with mid-late jet technologies, have fun binding keys and stuff
- Where is the April Foolishness in this event?
I know that I am just wasting my breath but still, not cool Gaijin, not cool.

I noticed that if u use the A10A in the event they dont give u the point for the vulcan historic event
