Helps a ton using CCRP with nukes so you can lob them instead of doing a suicide run, thus wasting your Spawn Points. You should be better able to return to base and rearm another nuke and continue dropping small or medium nukes, without using more spawn points.
Nope, first time we are talking lol, anyway, i know the basic things but i dont like to get like 700-900 rp each match because every match is around 1 hour ;-;
HRM! If you can build up 250 spawn points, select one of the SIDE airbases, go for one of the fuel/supply depots (OR if you see a fairly good grouping of units), you should be able to get like 500 or 1000 match points per small nuke run.
I almost never spawn nukes from the center airfield, too many other players hungry to shoot you down. Side airbases are much more viable for nuke runs, for me anyway.
I also only take in 50% fuel in the F-4E for small nuke runs, I only go full fuel for medium nuke runs, if I am trying to nuke one of their side airfields. MUCH harder to nuke their center/forward airfield. I would advise against it under normal circumstances.
ALSO! For normal PvP at the start, you can even take in minimum fuel in the F-4E, really no point in taking more fuel if you are just gonna fire off your missiles and die then re-spawn lol. Takes a lot of time to fly back to base just to rearm missiles. Really only worth flying back to base for nukes, imo.
Im trying that yeh, but im my matchs there are like 5-6 enemys doing the same thing and i just see how 6-8 missiles are coming for me, i gotta do maneuvers to dodge those missiles but then 3-7 OSA AKM’s track me, i go down and i fly towards the trees buuuuut for some reason the OSA still hits me xD
Coastline is also great, big nukes for the bases which are easy to reach and both the BUK and S-300 site near the coast are also easy to sneak up to and drop a small nuke on.
I usually drop 2 small nukes on the BUK and S-300 sites and then just farm the airfields.
AH, are you setting your CCRP point on the mini map? Default is middle mouse click, I think. Then you do not have to pop up at all to set your CCRP point, exposing yourself more to the SPAA’s.
You can download these maps, especially if you have a second monitor. And/or might be worth taking the time to print them out IRL and setting them next to your computer:
Here you go. Maps for RU and US side’s AI ground units:
I would suggest downloading from source make sure you get the 1 MB+ files. (I edited to embed directly from imgur, so should be full size. Imgur link below just in case. First file should be 1.28 MB, second should be 1.45 MB.)
In what aspect you can look statistically and Russia is wayyyyy way above in k/d and win rate same with this new gamemode their percentage of missles hitting comparing to USA and their K/D and W/L ratio is absurd compared to America right now in this new mode.
I do not know. IF they are like the BUK launchers, then I don’t think so. As I think the BUK’s can still keep firing (probably degraded). Do we know if they have their own built in tracking radar/IRST?
Best advice would be to use a small or medium nuke IF you are going to attempt to kill one of those deep behind front line installations. There are other SPAA’s with some of them, and/or at least near by ish. I have only been able to take out the further back SPAA installations by lobbing nukes very carefully. And even then I have died 50% of the time. It is not a very safe or easy mission lol. Fun, probably worth it. But dangerous.
OH are the radars separated by enough distance to not be nuked at the same time? I have not paid enough attention. Was your nuke a small or medium when you did that run?
Ooooo I see now those “early warning radar?” marks? I don’t know yet! Very good question!
The one on the coast side is at least, I think it sits a couple kilometers away from the site give or take (hard to accurately estimate distance when you are flying a jet). I haven’t gotten close enough to the other S-300 sites.
I usually clear the coast and move inland from there.
I literally can’t play this event — I’m struggling just to get into a session. This is already my second time in queue, and I’ve been waiting over an hour.
