I played a match as the soviets on the lower bracket and saw one of them, i think it’s mixed matchmaking so they can get the higher br bracket or the lower one

This is easily the best “event” War Thunder has ever had, and should be what both Air RB and Air SB are going forwards.
Why do the frontline SAMs have unlimited ammo? If you are going to saturate the battlefield with so many of them they should at least have limited ammo. Rewards for taking out enemy AA should also be much higher, as matches have turned into deathmatches. I like how they’ve taken the style of gameplay from Nuclear Option but it does feel VERY half baked atm.

Going high altitude is definitely possible, you just can’t expect to stay there forever with nothing threatening you

I think what happened is that the Nuke exploded and took out the missile, not directly hitting it

I think it’d be better if when you take out the ammunition depots it would limit the amount of missiles the batteries have.
If you take out the super long range stuff like the BUKs and S-300s you legit are untouchable high up past 25,000 ft
Other than the balance issues surrounding player vehicles, the mode itself is a breath of fresh air and another step closer to the mythical “Air RB EC” that many have been clamoring for.
I just hope the devs will take their experience from making this mode and put it into 1. a permanently available mode to complement air RB, 2. improvements in Air RB, 3. improvements in Air Sim.

Easy, 6 SARH w/IOG+DL + 4 IRCCM IR R-73 vastly outclasses several 11.7/12.0s.
While the F-15A is allegedly strong at the gamemode, I still haven’t saw anyone getting a nuke with it. If anything, US nukes I saw so far have been mostly with the now banned IRIAF.
ive seen ppl get a nuke w the f15a but not many i think 4 ppl, the rest were the f14 iriaf
