well datamines says stuff for it have been updated so
Looks like F-16s will be the New Nuke Carrys next launch of the game mode
Correct me if I’m wrong, but…
…isn’t this essentially how it’s always worked, and part of/the whole problem to begin with?
If the SPAA/SAM’s radar is switched off, how does the AI determine that an aircraft has entered its detection range in order to know when to switch the radar back on?
Is this based purely on the aircraft’s distance from the SPAA/SAM, independent of whether the vehicle could actually detect it?
For example, if I’m within the specified range but masked by terrain, such as flying behind a hill or extremely low, does the SPAA/SAM still know that I’ve entered its range and activate its radar accordingly?
Or does the system use some other form of simulated detection to determine when the radar should be activated?
Definitely a great question.
My headcannon is that all AI GBAD in NT basically have datalink, and the long range SAM search radars are always running, so theres no real reason to keep their radars active if there isnt a target in-range as it just increases the likelihood of them being found and targetted.
If by low tier you mean props, then that wouldn’t happen, but if you meant early jets, maybe
Salting the snail worked???
when did we salted the snail? i am pretty sure in the Summer Sales they had an increase compere to other sales
All the hate from every platform I could find, except reddit we don’t count those psychopaths
Yay, endless queue-thunder has returned, maybe if I try and join now I’ll get into a match before I leave for work on Monday morning.
gaijin couldn’t care less as long as everyone is buying their premiums
The nuke carrier planes such as Tornado IDS ASSTA1 and F-111F in the battle rating 10.3-11.7 bracket ,whose CCRP is not working (it doesn’t hinder you from dropping the bomb before the theoretical releasing point, which only having a point of interest function. I guess that’s due to that developers just copy-pasted the nuke planes in GRB )
Now this! This is gonna be awesome!
Yeah i noticed this too. Please fix CCRP in this mode
Tell you what, I am loving the british ground attack tornadoes in this gamemode.
Teaming up in a gr1 for anti shipping stuff or launching 9 alarms at whichever anti air looks at you funny, it’s fun! Wish sinking ships gave you more rewards though. Also, you should get kill assist if a ship intercepts your missiles but sinks anyway due to a friendly having also fired missiles at the ship.
There would also be the classic front line post with a guy with a landline or satellite phone sending a signal if aircraft are coming. (don’t like unless Gaijin wants to model them) the AI should also turn on there radars at random sometimes opening them up to attack sort of like a clam.
I wish Gaijin would have this being a strength and a weakness with awacs and ground based radar. These datalinks allow the SAMS to pull off this trick but when they are destroyed they have to fall back onto there own radars opening them up to anti-radiation missiles. Provides a bit of a list of requirements for both teams to move forward by destroying the major radar sites and awacs before fully committing to Anti Air hunting.
-
Fix bugs (AGM-88 does not cause damage or does not hit EWR antennas. Missiles from enemy anti-aircraft systems passing through trees or water. And other bugs mentioned by the community);
-
Optimize performance (preferably without reducing graphics quality or removing resources);
-
Increase rewards to encourage and engage players in the mode. (For Research Points and Silver Lion, it is much more viable to play Realistic Air Mode, because the amount of time you spend on a Nuclear Escalation match, you can play several matches in Realistic Air Mode in the same period of time and get much more rewards);
-
Add reward bonuses for destroying high-value targets, such as aircraft carriers and large anti-aircraft systems, and add an assist bonus for all players who damaged these systems. This would generate a great incentive for teamwork to destroy these targets. (We would have a risk versus reward issue, where the more important, dangerous, and difficult the target, the more rewarding its destruction will be);
-
Add new maps (either completely new maps or adapt existing ones);
-
From these new maps mentioned in the previous topic, add new scenarios based on historical conflicts (Gulf War, Falklands War, Iran-Iraq War, Vietnam War, Ukraine War, and more…);
-
Add new features (RCS for weapons, hit/miss rate of interception of anti-aircraft systems, modern strategic bombers with cruise missiles, among other features suggested by the community);
-
Remove or reduce cloud intensity. Or another option would be to add thermal sight capabilities to see through them;
-
Increase the stabilization limit of modern targeting pods above 30 kilometers. (Currently, you lose aiming stabilization in targeting pods when attempting to target targets beyond 30 kilometers, making it difficult to search for and use stand-off weapons at long distances);
-
Making access to nuclear bombs more difficult should be sporadic, tactical, and a reward for performing good deeds throughout the match. (Currently, players perform very little action in the match and manage to access a nuclear bomb and destroy an entire airfield, jeopardizing all the efforts of that team that is striving with conventional means to destroy enemy defenses).
Replace the Ukraine war with Operation Desert storm which was more so a air war and such
How to balance lineups and nations? Or will they be fictional and balanced like current br bracket
