No other US missle would chamge that, apart from the G variant that will be added next update
SAMPTs are still oddly ignoring aircraft at high altitude. Honestly, I think replacing them with the Patriot would be better. The S-300s are a positive change, they are still very powerful but they are much more predictable and fair feeling. Patriot would add that side of fairness to opposing them while also making them way more competent at long range engagements than the SAMPT, being SARH and all forcing players to dive and go cold rather than just notch the SAMPT with ease, or fly right over it
TBF playing bith sides, now i can say blue side has better AA.
The SAMPT spams missles non stop while the S300 is pretty limited in target selection, both will kill you if you stay too much on altitude without taking precautions.
But the situation RN is that both LR AA are lobotomized and hardly a threat, with the blue side being the best one RN.
ITO are much scarier than 2s6, SAMPT fires much more missle than S300, pantsir was removed, and spyder is superior to HQ11.
While their intent is clear, from my expirience playing bluefor I hardly ever saw anything other than su-30 variants (both prem. and TT). Not even 27SM’s since everyone who has grinded it evidently just skips straight into 30SM/SM2.
The reverse is not true though, blue side is rather varied.
I play SM. I was playing 27 and then 27SM.
In the event i can play Blue Rafale, M2k-5 , F-15E, F-14B/IRIAF ,F-16s, Kfir C10 , JAS39C as well.
I don’t care what is OP … I care the event to be playable , and the only reason it is it’s because RB is completely boring .

My problems are around the game having hiccups ONLY IN THE EVENT.
And that they can’t fix/balance the SAMs.
Also the fact that Trash Tier vehicles and armament are so much half azzed that it just pisses me off.
Everything is incomplete , buggy and it shows it is WIP, pre-alpha or something.
yea my rwr wont stfu now, always going off even at 60% sensitivity, i get within 25km of samp/t site and BAM my rwr is lit up like a christmas tree, its annoying
Yes but it wasn’t the SAMP/T, i found out what it was.
Lag , i broke the plane and it was near (?) a SAMP/T and gave it the kill.
I found out in another game that i crashed in the invisible 100m tree somewhere midmap and towards the sea, and still gave it to… a SAMP/T.
Now another bug.
Somehow i can’t launch CMs. That’s a midgame bug. I leave game , go check on test flight, everything works fine. It was just for me to leave game…
Like, i haven’t played 1/3 of all the matches i’ve played without something annoying happening (bugs/lags etc).
That SAMP/T with an ASTER-30 missile which should have 120 km practical range and 150 km kinematic range, but is anemic (Mach <1) after 30 km flight distance at a height of 2 km, yes…
I have the feeling they pitted the SAMP/T against the Buk-M3 based on its bug reported data and not on what’s currently implemented in the game. On that note: Wouldn’t the S-350 with 9M96D missiles be the much better equivalent to the SAMP/T instead of The Buk-M3, as they seem to be very similar in terms of range, seeker, warhead and overload?
They should have make it a TT event, Phantoms, MiG 23s/Su-17s etc and SA-2 Nike Hercules, Nike Ajax , HAWK, SA-5, SA-3s…
Easy things that they could have done more accurately for start.
TT things are incomplete and buggy everywhere. More complex to program also and less easy to fix…
My opinion , though. But you start from 0-1-2-3… they start from 0-15-16-18…
Have they not done mid to late Cold War during April fools, I heard a lot of people requesting for a more… modern version of this mode.
- Increase the rendering distance when using targeting pods. It’s 2026, my PC can handle it. The newer pods have great zoom power, let me make use of it by not making trees and vehicles disappear from view. AA firing at me while being invisible using the targeting pod is wild.
- Uncap the range of targeting pods. Let me set a point of interest 100km away on the ground if I want, don’t limit it to 30km away from my jet.
- Link the ESM lock to the targeting pod camera the same way a radar lock does it.
- Completely overhaul the convoy code. You mentioned sometime ago that convoy SPAAs shoot on the move because if they stopped, other convoy vehicles would break up or collide. If you want NT to be a permanent mode, this NEEDS to finally be addressed. The mode relies too heavily on moving AI targets for it to be so buggy.
- Lower the munition interception chance of AA. Do they really have to shoot down every single thing you fire at them? What is this, the Iron Dome? It’s insane and unrealistic. You could at least make it so each munition has a % chance of being “targetable” by AA. Perhaps scale the actual % value with bomb weight or something.
- Double RP/SL rewards to make it match Air RB. Even if the mode is fun, nobody will play it if the average player loses resources for playing it. Honestly this is the only game I’ve seen punishing players for playing.
I’m too traumatized by how they botched it the first time, to bother replaying this again… maybe one day

You mean that was first run of Nuclear Escalation back in April, especially after lower bracket was introduced.
Range is there on HARMs as Nut Thunder map where action happens is still small, but they lack speed of a ramjet powered missile to reach the target before all get intercepted.
Kh-31 would be non issue if it was limited to 2 per fighter aircraft like Su-30SM and maybe 4 on Su-34, but they carry six. Su-30s also have competent air to air loadout when at it.
If Eurofighters, Rafales and F-15 also carried six HARMs, then even Buks would be vulnerable to saturation attacks. But only western flavored jet carrying this many is Superhorny.
Even removing Kh-31PD and replacing them with older Kh-31P doesn’t solve elephant in the room called ramjet propulsion, as its still dimension ahead AGM-88.
Sort-of-kinda-solution would be degrading Kh-31PD to Kh-31P, but its still ramjet missile, instead it loses wideband seeker and IOG, so goes dumb when it loses targeted radar.
Flight model parity, if in game missile chart is any indication would be achieved with Kh-58U.
KH31PD cant be removed as the SU30SM, SU30SM2, SU34 wont have access to ARMs also isnt the YJ91A the AShM variant of the YJ91 ARM?
Don’t forget they need to fix the Pantsir missile magically killing you even though it’s far off target (literally a km off target)
