Yep it’s Kazakhstan’s only vehicle. Once the player switches the Kazakhstan flag will disappear as long as there’s no other Su-25BMs on the same team,so this is a very gimmicky way of revealing extremely specific vehicles from nations with 1 vehicle at either that br range or that operator only has 1 vehicle overall

Some examples of vehicles that can be “revealed” by the flags are:
Shenyang F-5
Su-30MK2 AMV
T-72M2 Moderna
MiG-17AS
LÉ Orla
Centauro RGO

The problem is that instead of giving players the option to enter historical or semi-historical matches with longer durations, featuring nations that were enemies, or tanks from the same era, they offer idiotic options. Thank you.

It’s just so difficult without premiums.
It’s sad to see Gaijin not really caring about it’s playerbase who actually play the TT.
Instead they go for easy money. People with the wallet of their parents buying themselves into top tier and ruining gameplay for the people who have been here for decades trying to play the game as intended.

I understand Gaijin has to make money, don’t get me wrong, but by implementing constant C&P vehicles in the TT and putting the unique ones behind a paywall, just so level 14 players can buy their way into top tier, is really a knife in the back for long term players like myself.

6 years ago, i enjoyed getting a new vehicle after grinding a bit. But nowadays it just feels like a burden. Getting the same vehicle again with a different engine or an extra missile, and having to spade the same vehicle again - sometimes for over 8 times, e.g. F-5 aircraft in the American, Japanese and Chinese TT.

It’s just not fun anymore. And it’s sad that a company like Gaijin is just borderline ignoring people like us. People who are invested in grinding the TT’s they have made, people who are enjoying the strategic and team effort part of the game.
Yet these 2 things have been a thing of the past. There is no more strategic gameplay with all the map restrictions they have been placing over the years. Making invisible red, out of bounderies area’s, which would have been the perfect flank.
Or the team effort part of the game. Gaijin is so invested with quick cash, that they are ruining their own game in top tier. People with no higher tier experience, map knowledge, mechanics knowledge, etc… are joining these matches like they have grinded their way into that area. They die within 2 minutes and leave the match after 1 death. Resulting in most matches being 8v8 within the first 4 minutes of the game if you are lucky.

So many people have been complaining about this matter.
Is there any chance someone at Gaijin, maybe Gromvoiny, can elaborate the reason to why the current situation is what it is.
Back in the day, Gaijin has stated that players shouldn’t be able to buy their way into top tier. Yet that situation has changed and no one got an explanation to why that has changed. People are annoyed and tired by the current “top tier” situation.
From low level players buying themselves into that area, people who don’t contribute to the team, and people leaving after 1 death.

I really, really hope, some clarification can be given.

The urge to buy a prem coastal to grind is unreal right now, im using all my willpower to avoid spending money.

The issue is thast the J-11 is probably too strong to be 13.0, so it needs to be 13.3. But the J-11A is too weak to be 13. 7.

though the mess of not having a 13.3 or 12.3 brackets previously probably doesnt help either and when they added those brackets, Gaijin didnt touch anythings BRs. Which is why the F-14A is still 12.3

These options weren’t added now, they existed for years. This new feature just displays that slightly better.

Personally I wouldn’t mind the option of historical games if the matchmaker allows it, like the US/UK vs JP pacific matches that happen sometimes, but I also understand why they are this rare now. Nations like Switzerland have (or could have if Gaijin added them) a ton of interesting vehicles, but also no real scenario they would use them in outside of ahistorical ones.

Maybe they could play around with nation combinations a bit more to at least make better alt-history scenarios when they can’t be perfectly historical though. It’s probably doable, but might need some more effort with new features like:

  • Matchmaking based on more specific vehicle operators, for example East German vehicles won’t share a matchmaker with West German ones unless squads / mixed lineups force them to
    • Some vehicles might need specific attention based on historical context. For example modern Hungary was both a Warsaw and NATO country at different times. The respective vehicles might need different matchmakers despite having the same operator. Or East German vehicles inherited and used by West Germany could fill in as either operator depending on what fits.
  • More possible historical, semi-historical and alt. history match combination options.
    • Preferring those scenarios where possible, but creating the more “random” games once wait times reach a certain time. This doesn’t even need to be too long to work, even 1 minute gives good time to see more reasonable games be more common.

Depending on your definition of top tier, players still aren’t able to buy their way into top tier.

Now, if we define top tier as the top bracket (13.3-14.3), yes, people can buy into top tier, but if we go with the probably more common definition of top tier (14.0/14.3), people cannot buy into top tier.

Either way, you still have to play to get top BR vehicles and for most ground nations you also have to play to get a proper high BR line-up.

As for the module grind, they definitely could improve the stock experience for a lot of vehicles (FG.1/FGR.2/F-4J with 2 AIM-9Ds as stock at 12.0 come to mind, but also stuff like the Kikka having to unlock its second main gun and strike/bomber planes having to unlock bombs to even be able to destroy a base), so those vehicles aren’t borderline useless in stock configurations.

But, let’s be real, they probably won’t improve those cases, as the terrible stock experience is a way for them to make money…

Sim definitely needs a better matchmaking system that avoids unrealistic match-ups, especially those cases where both sides have similar tanks (Shoutouts to Italy for having US tanks at WW2 brackets, meaning both teams have Shermans, Stuarts and Chaffees).

While it would be cool to see a return of actual historical scenario maps, I feel like Gaijin abandoned that idea a long time ago, just like the assault mode, the Heli mode, missions and campaigns.

The “modern” playerbase just isn’t interested in that stuff and the rest of us have to suffer because of it.

ARB has devolved into TDM, ARB EC still isn’t a thing, Sim is being neglected and it’s taking them a very long time to introduce a new World War mode…

We have been very clear on the fact that we dont have plans to have premiums that have the very maximum BR.

“We’d like to also note that premium vehicles whose Battle Rating corresponds to the maximum rank will be moved to the maximum rank in that vehicle’s research tree. Having said this, we do not plan to add premium vehicles that have a maximum Battle Rating and the best combat abilities to the game. It’s a nice way for long term players (or those willing to put in the effort to learn) to quickly recognise their opponents before seeing them, its not a mutually exclusive skill so I don’t see an issue with it personally
