1000mm penetration ATGM…ON a mobile chassis great thermals and a 30mm autocannon…Where would you put it 7.0?
I’m honestly fine with the BTR-82AT at 9.0, as it has the same ammo as the 7.3 BTR-80
The Kornet ATGM isn’t anything special either, as the ZT3A2 and AFT09 exist at 8.3 and 9.0 respectively
Its a decent sidegrade to the BMP-2 or 3 but nothing to write home about, idk why people are freaking out so much and overhyping it.

It’s faster and can hide and use the ATGM it will be a nuke machine at that BR
BMP-3 gun, BMP-2M missiles, spall liners and mobility + ability to fire the ATGM completely behind cover… well
Its more so just how many Light vehicles Russia gets at 9.x and they are very annoying
It’s a bus with 7.3 ammo and 4 ATGMs that are available at 8.3, it’s not that crazy

That too but the 9.0 bracket in general is overfilled with such vehicles not only from russia

And these vehicles are severely flawed compared to BTR. Both are tank destroyers lacking any weaponry besides the missiles. In case of ZT3 it cant reasonably fire behind cover and lacks mobility and turning performance. Its just such a sad sad vehicle.
BTR doesnt have these issues and also carries a solid gun with full stab + spall liners.

I wasnt targeting specific nations there. I’m just saying that in general you have multiple nations running strong autocannons around this BR.
The AFT09 definitely is not flawed whatsoever and for the ZT3A2 I’d only agree with the cover problem, the mobility doesn’t matter on a long range ATGM slinger.
The BTR is still a BTR, it’s a 7.3 vehicle with a slight armor upgrade and an added ATGM that isn’t special either
The spall liners are pretty useless with this kind of crew layout, not to forget that the armor can be pen’d by 12.7mm guns
Gonna be real Kornets are overrated, yeah they are good but after the ATGM changes from years back… i would rather use the BMP-3 because GLATGMs dont suffer from the problems that other atagms do and they are also significantly faster which matters more than the kornet sticks gimmick of shooting over cover. Also the BMP-3 carrys more of them and is a tad more mobile so there is that.
The BMP-2 just has a better gun (rof) and more ammo overall and while Konkurs suffer from the same problems that Kornet and TOW do they are more than adequate for the BR.
The BTR is a bus and if you want any protection from MGs at all you need to take the armor package which makes it even more of a bus. On top of that its a wheeled vehicle so it has disadvantages there. The only real notable upside it has is a spall liner. Even then I will still gladly spawn the BMP-2 or 3 over it. Its really not that special.
