Fixing broken vehicles and finding problems within the released data has nothing to do with leaking unreleased data
Except Olivia said she only gets her information from these vromfs files, which you can only really get through the game. Unless she’s somehow getting these files from developers on later versions?

I’m not Olivia or anyone close to Olivia, so I don’t know how they obtained the data for their leaks.
Gaijin probably does tho, but you aren’t gonna get answers from either side until this is resolved (or ever, depending on how this is resolved)
Not true many bug reporters see a vehicle leak and start to acquire the documents and sources.
Especially if the dev is so short.

Gszabi looks like he’ll keep datamining and other leakers will probably continue. The other leakers keep their identity hidden well so I wouldn’t be shocked if they’ve got insiders.
In that case it’s as I’ve implied before, if you keep your identity concealed there is less of a risk of being hit with potential punishment.
Olivia wasn’t very concerned with doing so, that’s why I said

Meh, true. Its worth speculating though. I’m just saying that Olivia said she only looked at vromfs (which Gaijin have always supported) and you can check the files yourself to find the same information. I can’t really think of any information that was leaked that you can’t just find in the games files.

Feels a bit cruel to support Dataminers and allow them to post things (especially in the official forum!!) but then hit them with a C&D. That’s a new low, even for GJN.

(Doubting this will be approved first time and they might require it to be submitted to a different area but oh well what’s another 3-4 months of waiting)
Got another one from August still pending too and also 3 that had to be resubmitted but were also originally made back in August.
My best guess is it’s revenge from one of the suggestion mods, I might have stolen a kill from one a few weeks ago and this is their way of getting me back :p

something with cease and desist from gaijin for one of the leakers and possibility of leaking methods made public? im not completely sure

Something about, so long as its not controversial, they wont leak anything and maybe the leaker is in legal trouble or something.
