Gripen just won’t be that exciting imo. Worse mobility for better acceleration and missiles. Sure better radar but it’s basically a glorified Fighter version of an F15E.
Gripen E needed ECM to stick out. Early Gripen E prototypes would’ve been the better choice but oh well. Just another L for sweden air but thats basically the usual lmao.
Im honestly more excited for the J10C, been waiting for that thing for a while.
Can go either way. Id still give the Gripen at least a reasonably fair chance of appearing, the leaklist was quite small/limited

Yes, but I hope they open the dev room soon and release the trailer, damn, waiting until Thursday is going to be a long time.
I’m wondering, if BVVD said that everyone will have AESA by the end of the year, what will Israel get? While it’s clear with the other nations, it’s debatable here. I believe we’ll see F-16V/Rafale (Greece) or a possible F-15SG.

We never got the answer to the question of whether the Kfir C10 counts as their ESA aircraft.
But I assume that is why a Rafale nation is planned for them as a Sub-TT.
I think differently; I believe it might not be the best, but depending on how it’s implemented, it could be a good aircraft for anything.

It would have been better if Gaijin had skipped the F-15C GE and just added the F-15EX this december update.
That way the F-15IA would have also been an option for Israel, although since it hasn’t been delivered yet so it would be a slight stretch.

It’s likely to be an F-15SG, as many people did not like Greece’s presence in Israel.
Anything that helps evading the mica seeker more easily is welcome, I still find the whole seeker situation stupid but oh well.

My guess would be ECM and ARMs. But we atleast know ARMs are planned for the first half of 2026 so that would just leave ECM, my bet would be in the September or November update of 2026 if we end up with 5th gens by the end of next year.
Not sure though what could come this update though, maybe new bomb types but the bigger technologies I would bet they leave until next year and beyond.
