Storm Shadow / Taurus?
No. They fly to a target using GNSS and then use an IIR imager to confirm the target and make last minute adjustments. Taurus has documents for a limited ability to actually hit vehicles (not sure about Storm Shadow, but probably the same) Though based upon the implementation of AASMs which have a similar setup IRL, this could mean the Storm Shadow and Taurus could have full target tracking. (I think Storm Shadow even uses the same IIR imager as the AASM, but dont quote me on that)
It just depends on how ready things are behind the scenes. The teaser will come when the dev server is ready (or at least that’s what the pattern has been for a while). But I agree, they’re talking this update up like it’s a big one, it would be odd if there’s not much time for a dev server, and the update basically has to come out before the devs go on holiday which happens the fourth week of December.
How many dev servers were there for Storm Warning last year?

No teaser this week but teaser in the next one, so that they can minimize the dev server days and fix as few bugs as they can and go on holidays.
2 tons of bombs but at Rank I, also a weird collection vehicle. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was going to be put at Rank II tech tree
Yep you are right, gotta make sure that the CAPTOR-E is bricked for as long as possible.

I’m pretty sure the Taurus doesn’t have IIR, just a regular IR seeker. The image based navigation is a seperate system.

wonder if they are gonna model the german EFT with CAPTOR-E MK0 and the italian and british with MK2 or if its gonna be purely in name
Irl maybe, not super knowledgable on missiles irl.
However in game the J-10C also isn’t a fair counterpart to the AESA EFT, so that is why I wouldn’t be suprised to see Gaijin use the PL15 to close the gap between these jets.

it really depends on how “nerfed” it is, AIM120Cs atm are worse then As so if its a bit better then an A it will probably be fine if not then who knows

It is a good question.
Could be Germany gets Mk1 and everyone else Mk2 but the Mk2 is modeled to be C&P of the Mk1
