Come to think of it, there’s still a metric boatload of other Swiss planes they could add actually. Just going down the list of suggestions there’s the; * Dassault Mirage IIIS, Doflug D-3802, D-3803, MS.406H, EKW 3800, EKW 3801 (41 and 42 versions), four P-16s, F/A-18C (Upgrade 21), and the F/A-18D.
Plus there’s also stuff like the EFW N-20.10, EKW C-36 (couple variants we don’t have), Dewotine D.27/D.28, and the Pilatus PC-7 (if we ever get COIN aircraft).

Exactly this.
While it sometimes easy to think of War Thunder as a catalog of the military equipment of a given nation/nations, it is a game first and foremost.
The developers choose what to include based on their ideas of what the game needs (or how they want to develop/progress the game), they aren’t obligated to add everything that any given nation used.
Basically, from their perspective, their gameplay decisions come first.
Easy copy paste money, no other reason
I dont want it to, would much rather get them with ASRAAM / IRIS-T and Meteor which we are not getting next update
I have a feeling gaijin is going to do that to a few vehicles, look at the F-18C and MLU 2. Both 14.0 but irl the MLU 2 can mount aim 9X, the new F16AM uses IRIS-T missiles. I fully expect some vehicles like Hugs 2 and such to move up in BR and get their IRL loadouts.

Ok, Tranche 3 with just Captor-E now and Tranche 4 with ASRAAM/IRIS-T/Meteor later
They are gonna split those vehicles into as many variants as possible to stretch out the content. They are quickly running out of new vehicles to add for top tier.
as far as I know only Trenche 4s have Captor-E which again while M scan is inferior to E scan, if they actually fix the Captor-M the eurofighter will be able to keep up
hell if we ever get the double racks irl then there is another way for them to keep up with M scan
As far as I’m aware they didn’t use SAL-only Brimstones on the Eurofighter, especially Italy and Germany didn’t even operate those Brimstones at all.
Tranche 3 was planned to use Captor-E, so that’s likely what Gaijin is gonna do.
well that looks like marketing lies to me
these dont exist gaijin just has yet to add mode 1 and 2 (LOAL and mmV LOBL)
they do however have the wrong version EFTs only mounted brimstone 2s
they dont exist irl as far as we know its just a render

See what I mean? They don’t give a damn about historical accuracy with these planes, so why wouldn’t they just go for Tranche 3s with Captor-E?
The German EFT is a Block 10 on top of that, Brimstone integration started with Block 15
well after 50 games in the F3 late i still dont have 4 aim120’s and have only just gotten the skyflashes.
