It was nice as it gave me a reason to take out the hawks other than points and the fact they were dead annoying. I focused sectors at a time to make way for either me or my team to drop nukes on their afs.

they should allow us to host nuclear escalation in custom matches… also add that you can join custom games by writing in a code that the host can share

I got to play the first iteration of NT in a custom battle.
I also got to watch entire SAM batteries fire dozens of missiles at me, which was… exciting.

You need to go to WT Live and look in the custom missions tab.

Just bring back the mode, the game feels empty atm. I don’t see any reason to not have it permanent even if it’s developement…
The whole game is perma-beta , if anything NT has “something to do” while every other mode is just a DM (and not even a good DM with that garbage balance) .

Yeah I agree. I have kinda just been messing about in custom servers since the end of NE since it ruined the rest of the game for me… lol. It really should stay permanently available while being worked on, so that people can have some fun and give constant feedback, with the big changes coming from development coming out every few weeks. But that would require gaijin not being radio silent on everything or else people would just constantly spam “gaijin pls fix XYZ” because they don’t even know if it is being addressed.
Yeah, it’s just unfortunate how we can’t just have a test event running at all times (and I don’t really understand why). Surely it’d help in providing a continuous feedback stream and increase the game’s popularity, especially amongst users who no longer play regularly.
Literally just slap “Beta Test” to the event name to prevent large amount of people from thinking it’s a finished gamemode and that there’s not gonna be issues and there you have it.
