It’s a trailer. If your that hell bent about it, why didn’t the T90 shoot first? It clearly saw the abrams before the abrams saw it.

If it hit the strongest part of the turret armour, then yeah it would stop it from penetrating.
I’m fairly sure a shot to the turret ring would cripple an abrams. Despite it being weaker/larger than IRL it still is theoretically a place you can penetrate with modern APFSDS.

In reality it’d be virtually impossible as with 125mm APFSDS penetrators you’d have to aim within ~5mm in order to actually hit the turret ring. What they showed in the trailer was a shot from below, with the SEP’s barrel aimed slightly upwards for some reason, and the gap that the T-90M had to aim for was still likely at most a few inches tall.
