New Chinese Stealth Aircraft

It’s a strange plane, but in 1943, it can be said that HO229 was a contemporaneous plane

If these are real photos then this render doesn’t look far off ngl.

Can’t tell if the cockpit is actually tandem though, too blurry.
The side profile is also slimmer than expected.

Bomber and 4 gen fighter?

H20 and accompanying J11 or J16

Tail section is interesting, always thought it would be a flying wing

It is rumored to be variable tail technology

That’s a fake photo.

Funny, first swing wings now turn tails

What’s the point of using variable tail? I dont see any advantages

stealth maybe, and if it can go supersonic this will give it much better control and stability

but imo its extra parts and weight for something that can be fixed with competent airframe design

Are the flight control surfaces aeroelastic?

Not sure, maybe
Here’s a video of it.

Because it is more powerful than su33 in all aspects, whether it is radar or avionics system. J15D will not be made in the game until Russia has a stronger aircraft.

“6th gen” is pretty much just a meaningless buzzword invented on social media. There are so many definitions of it floating around that now it just generally means “5th generation + ability for operation of loyal wingman airframes”.

Since the tentative “J-36” was debuted alongside smaller Shenyang J-XX, it’s plausible that the latter is a loyal wingman drone for the former.

It does seem to have decently low wing loading, AOA is fairly mild when coming in to land.

well it is a flying wing so its pretty hard not to have a low wing loading

pretty curious what those flaps on the wings are

Split rudders to control yaw, you see them on flying wings like the B-2/B-21.
