Fantastic QoL update.
Now if some of the recently reworked camos could be fixed so the condition slider makes them look worn, not just dusty, that would be great.
If you don’t know what I’m on about, try using it on the Tiger II

This is really good, thank you! It’s sweet to read such nice things after the bitterness of certain… issues.
Why new camouflage added in the update count from 0 even I have obtained all other camouflages?
Kinda like a bridgeplate? Much of the British naval decals are themselves bridgeplates iirc that would sit just above or under the bridge, we even see this with a few ships in game with them modelled in the spots they would sit (curse my console limitations on the ability to zoom in while in hangar/port).
Wish all the bridgeplates would become decals, like the corvette HMS Peacock P-239 there’s many british ships with them attached model.
Speaking of Peacock, after the corvette rating was scrapped from the statcards (still rated a corvette in battle), I’ll never not laugh at the devs for rating Peacock a subchaser of all things…
No chance of implementing the Israeli tank markings and chevrons from Mobile version/unused assets into this update? It can be very easily added as they already exist :)
Because all new additions are counted from zero.
Nice. If you take any feedback, I would also like to see (eventually of course) on of the black 3 digit tactical numbers from the Hungarian operated Sugs. This would come handy in decorating basically any tank in game.

I would also like to see either the “Mókus” (Meaning “squirrel” on one of the hungarian operated Hetzers) or the “Irénke” (Pet name form of Irene, Irén in hungarian) from the Zrínyi tankdestroyers.

Unfortunatly “Mókus” does not have the best picture. However there was also one Hetzer with the name “Marika”. Wich has nothing to do with Elden Ring, it’s the petname form of Mary. Anyway squirrels are the superior life forms, so that’s why I would prefer that instead…
Nice to have the “Pöttöm” enscription, I definitly will put it on some of my rat-tanks.
@Stona_WT I’ve been waiting for this feature for quite a while and it looks great! All though since the customization of more nations is being revised could we perhaps get a more accurate late tricolor scheme for top Italian tanks? It’s been the wrong color for almost 2 years now :(

I asked why the ‘hide not owned decals’ checkbox was removed. Wouldnt it be convinient to have it back?
Or does Gaijin really hope, that players will misclick from time to time and buy a decal by accident?
Probably favorite DevBlog, really like the addition of more decals outside of events/monthly decals (not meant negative as the monthly decal event is well done)
Favorite list is also good, though it would also help to add a few more categories, at a minimum it would be great to add nation categories to the anniversary decals.

softcore? I dont think a lot of it is light enough for that label anymore.
also sounds like a resource management nightmare, and an easy way to find extreme visual exploits or ways to crash weak hardware
Appreciate the new camo management options.
Why not allow players to use convertible research points to discount camouflages locked behind GE? Say 10 million crp’s to lower the GE costs by 50%. Do the same for decorations and decals.
I agree with all your points.
These patches look good and authentic. This could open the door for more patches of this kind, such as…
Not just for France, of course.
Let me make an example.
This is the default Tiger II Sla camo:
It just so happens that I really dislike it. Instead, on most maps, I want to use my marketplace skin for the vehicle, which is the “Beyond '45” skin:
This has to be selected manually at the moment, because the default camo cannot be excluded for automatic selection.
So when I get to a winter or desert map, I have two choices: I can manually change to winter skin or desert skin, or I can leave the Beyond '45 skin, which will make me very visible, especially on the snow. So let’s say I decide to switch to a winter skin. This will bring me back to auto selection. So the winter match is over, and I queue for the next match, and it’s a city map: now the game will put me back on the default Tiger II Sla skin unless I remember to manually switch back to “my” skin.
With the new system, this will no longer happen, because I can select Beyond '45 as my default skin for the vehicle, so I no longer have to manually select a camo for winter maps/desert maps/all other conditions. And in turn it means that what is now the default skin can be excluded from automatic selection.
