Please no, and let’s all hope they’ll correct the dispersion of both Roma and Vanguard.
One of the shells that I’ve seen fired from a Roma in my team litterally went to the moon like it was bouncing inside the barrel and came out with an impossible angle.
Dispersion should not be a balancing factor as it just add RNG and frustration to the game.

Yeah… British 15" guns should be about 3x more accurate at 20km than what they are in game at 10km.
I was fighting a Yamato at 13km and 80% of my shells were bracketing the target and not hitting.

Yeah, that’s what I meant by frustration, now think about normal players that will have to wait more than 50s for another shot and the RNG can kick in again saying “NOPE” while other BBs can reload in less than 35s without an ace crew.
That’s pure sadness as it takes away any player skill used by positioning and waiting for the perfect shot by applying a random debuff that can make all your shells overshoot or fall short, revealing your position and causing no damage.

Because they were less accurate at 10km compared to at 20km:
True Mean Dispersion, multiply it by 3.85 you will get the average full pattern size of 8-gun salvos
So Hood at 15km should have a mean dispersal of about 288m but its more like 400
Also, if that is accurate, why does shell dispersal get worse with range and not better
At 16000m there was one record with 420m dispersion
So British ships are just doomed to be unplayable if the target is further than about 7km away. Great.
Any news on damage model fixes. getting fed of being one shotted by loosing all hull intergrity after single hit in Rodney
So? You can have sub 200m dispersion but also over 400m at ~15km irl, and that’s how it performs in game too. I don’t know what are you complaining about
When something like an Amagi can hit 10/10 rounds ever 25 seconds but in Rondey you can only land 3-4/9 every 35 seconds its rather unfair
Amagi has the exact same dispersion parameter as Rodney and Hood, so where does this come from?
The fact that 10/10 shells fired from something like Amagi always hit perfecctly, and my shells will land 100-200m long and short at the same time
And now we have no survivability either. It really sucks
Especially as we arent allowed our IRL reloads either or for Vanguard our IRL FCS
To be honest, I don’t know what their logic is for dispersion. It’s not balance, that’s for sure, the Roma doesn’t need any handicaps. I’m guessing they did it because the guns had a bad reputation in history, although some argue it was because of bad shells.
The Soyuz guns also were extremely inaccurate when tested due to bad shells, and, unlike the Roma, it does make sense balance-wise to make it inaccurate. So in conclusion, if anyone is getting accuracy-cucked, it should be the Soyuz.

Did you actually play the Amagi, or do you just have experience being shot by it?
I’ve played a lot of it and it feels pretty inaccurate, consistent with the dispersion values in the files.
You can find the accuracy numbers in gszabi99’s datamine on github. Just search the name of the gun in the repository.
Amagi:
Rodney:
Only fighting against it, but 10 rounds every 25 seconds that hit harder than Rodneys 9 rounds every 35 seconds and Rodneys guns are disabled with any slgiht tap.
Also has 0 survivability since this new update. 1 salvo from something like Amagi and at least 1 section is black, if not 2.
Let’s disregard the stupid new hull integrity mechanics, they should get fixed soon. Hopefully.
Amagi is much better in firepower, but Rodney has much better ammo placement. And the Rodney is 0.3 BR lower. Don’t have the Rodney so I can’t comment much.
I don’t have the Rodney, you don’t have the Amagi. The neighbors grass is always greener.
Im getting constantly ammo racked at the moment. So barely and when one goes, you have no ammo anymore even if you survive
Did you check the hit replays? Are you getting hit by underwater shells, or is it just barbette fire?
I rarely see Rodneys explode.
No. I didn’t. I think its just plunging fire
