I got you. Here’s a much clearer and “higher-resolution” photo. You can clearly see three gun ports in each wing.
I can confirm this because the source identifies it as ex-RAF AG348, a Mustang Mk.I, which matches with the serial number database.
Above, the AG348 is listed as a Mustang Mk.I.
It seems likely the author confused it with the P-51A / Mustang Mk.II, which was also powered by an Allison engine but equipped with a newer powerplant and armed with four .50 cal machine guns instead.
