Sidenote, since I’m here on the forum, where is it located TT wise? If it’s after the AMX-40 or its line, I can probably research it straight away vs my original comment on the website.

The 3 second reload from testing did not have its safety system installed that cept it at 5 seconds like the production leclerc variants. It would definitely make it more unique. Like the leopard PT16.

4 sec would be a good middle ground and not out of the ordinary for the br range 3 sec would put it way too high in br anyway even if it would be fun

First Dev: Test drive wasn’t available;
next patch: test drive available, but:
- AA 50 cal doesn’t work;
- coaxial seems 50 cal, but only one listed on thumbnail;
- no internal armour arrays modelled;
so either they need to complete the model with internal arrays or lower the weight. the armour now is pathetic not being able to stop 105mm DM23! at 500 or 1000m, but to be fair S1 doesn’t fair much better in that regard.
Gaijin has always stated that reload is a soft stat that can be adjusted as/if needed, like what they did with the M1 series. For me with 6 seconds at 10.7 it’s still a very competent MBT, very good mobility (slightly better then both M1 and Leo2A4), solid round with 425 point blank, but offset with weak armour.
comparing it to other 10.7:
M1, has worse round (with better reload), slightly worse mobility, better armour;
leo2, slightly worse round, slightly worse mobility, better armour;
Ariete(p), better round, worse mobility, slightly better armour;
Cr Mk3, better round, better reload, better armour, way worse mobility;
T-80B, better round, worse mobility (reverse speed), better armour;
ZTZ-96A(10.3), better round, worse mobility (reverse speed), better armour;
The only MBT that beats it in mobility is the 11.3 Type 90 by barely 2 hp/t. the current round puts it behind the L26, 3BM42, DM33, but in front of all the DM23, M774 armed vehicles. The reload could go down to 5 sec like the rest of the Leclerc series.
Best to wait what the final iteration will be, but as it’s now the armor is useless.
But why is it so simplified? as far as I can see its worse than the AMX30s and 40 it would replace xd
