Johan Blue (technically a J35J) but given I think the J35D has the Johan gul camo this should be okay

Btw the Swastika needs to be edited out lest you want a mod deleting your entire post… Yes I think it’s a bit silly but just giving a heads-up

Example of some edited images after having all the historical images deleted from a post

Ah yeah totally forgot about that.

Hard to remember in an historical war game its not allowed to have historical stuff.

Thanks.

B-17G (USA) “5 Grand”. A B-17 with the signature of the 35,000 factory workers.

Yo where is that one B17 with all the signatures of the factory workers? Feels like that would be a cool camo too for this oist

Added it.

Gaijin will have a fun time modeling this one!!!

Iirc irl it went like 2 mph slower or something from the weight of the signatures or something like that idk I’d need to look and check that fact

Doubt.

A single pen has 1.2 mL of ink, lets say you spend 0.2 mL for a single signature, that plus 35,000, would be 7,000 mL = 7 Liters = 7 kilograms (if we say a liter of ink weights 1 kilogram). So weights like less than 7 rounds of a .50 cal

They say 5mph slower weird

For peeps who just want the info from the site
“On it’s trans Atlantic flight to England, the air crew found the B-17G was about 7 mph slower in cruise than a stock B-17G due to the extra weight of the paint used on the signatures and, also, the extra drag of the surface roughness from the thousands of colorful signature applications ! Both of these factors increased fuel consumption, which was also higher than normal, with the lower speeds of the plane, also less than normally forecast for a trip across the Atlantic, resulting in one of, 5 Grand’s, engines cutting out upon landing in the U.K. due to low fuel.”

Interesting, so many signatures also made extra drag on the surface.

It’s a bit silly imagine using a skin and it makes your flight performance worse lol
