Would adding variants of the Sheridan like the M551A1 TTS, or maybe even the 105mm equipped test variants, be good additions to the game?
They could potentially bridge the gap to other US light tanks at higher BRs, like the M10 Booker and maybe even HIMAG

I had suprisingly fun time with the 152mm gun at 8.7, but sheridian lacked any sort of mid range capability and starship was too slow for my liking.
There’s the Elevated Kinetic Energy Test Bed, that looks like it is using a M551 chassis, which could be neat. I think it uses the same, or similar gun, as the HSTV-L and RDF/LT in the game. So perhaps a bit higher BR than what you were looking for.
The XM551 with the M68 105mm gun would be my top wish for a Sheridan variant. It would be a huge upgrade in firepower for that poor vehicle.
I’m definitely not a fan of the standard version’s 152mm HEAT-rounds. And don’t get me started on those nose-diving missiles… So getting an actually potent and familiar gun would be a huge upgrade and hopefully fill a gap.

The M551A1 TTS should have been first added where the M551’s BR was originally at 8.3 LOL.
I have seriously no idea how they thought something like a Turm III or T-55AM-1 facing the base variant Sheridan was even remotely fair.
For a little bit of extra ‘float’ fun because of the recent T86 GMC Hellcat event.

But surely this has to be an event vehicle like the float cat. I don’t know much about the LVT, but I doubt the survivability is any good. And it’s so fat, so I don’t think hull-down sniping would be viable, plus I doubt it will be able to match the mobility of its smaller brethren. All for the sake of amphibious capability, which in this game (so far) is worth shat. A genuinely good tank; probably not. A funny obese meme tank that’s somewhat viable (unlike the FIROS); totally. Also, is there any Sheridan based thing that can shoot a dart? (eg XM578E1)

Out of the actual M81 152mm Gun-Launcher that the normal Sheridan has, probably not.
The XM578E1 round the MBT-70 and XM803 tanks both fire out of their 152mms are slightly more modified and longer-barreled for that exact reason.
There is however, the Stingray light tank developed by Cadillac Gage mentioned already earlier which does use the Sheridan chassis but with a modified turret and L7A3 105mm capable of firing the M426 or M735A1 NATO APFSDS rounds.
It would honestly be the absolute perfect 8.7-9.0 light tank fit for the U.S. and Japan (since Thailand also uses it) for those who prefer speed and a larger main gun than just a 20mm/25mm autocannon and TOWs, etc… (Edit I checked the main suggestion thread for it and saw that it’s been passed for consideration to the devs so yay :P)
