Since its been revealed that the he-177 with the new guided bombs for germany is going to be added in the next BP, how do you think the G8N1 would compare to that aircraft if the KI-147 was added to its loadout. The japanese missile is much larger at 800 kg, but how many KI-147’s would the G8N1 theoretically be able to carry? Im pretty sure the G8N1 does not even have hard points on its wings right? In which case it probably would only be able to carry one KI-147. :(

If you cant guess I would love the addition of a new premium event G8N1 with 3x Ki-147 missiles ;)

The Ki-147 rocket was the main one intended for the Ki-67. The G8N1 could only carry it in theory. This does not change the fact that both planes (Ki-67 and G8N1) compare well to the He-177. They can only carry one Ki-147 missile due to its heavy weight (1,400 kg, including an 800 kg warhead), but it is intended to destroy aircraft carriers or battleships. The defensive armament of these planes is (in my opinion) better. Additionally, they have a secret weapon: you turn on the long live emperor mode and you cannot be shot down. Overall they fare better

This is why you are the best source on anything Japanese on the internet! <3

Additionally, both of these planes can carry Ke-Go heat-guided bombs, the Ki-67 two under the wings, and the G8N1 two in the bomb bay

Pardon if my source is wrong(its wekepedia) but it says that the ke-go had a 800 kg bomb!? Can you confirm?

Unfortunately, Gaijin prefers the modern era, so I guess Ki-147 missiles will never be included in the game. Same with Ke-Go bombs. For now, only the Ki-148 missile has been given on its test stand, not on the operational aircraft (Ki-102b). That’s the saddest part of writing suggestions, you’ll probably never see it

The English Wikipedia probably gives the mass of the Ke-Go bomb model 109, which the Japanese did not manage to produce. The last version built was Ke-Go model 106/7 which weighed 725 kg. Ke-Go bombs model 106

Plz dont say that :( I am guessing once Gaijin is done with adding much of all that other boring mordern trash they will have little choice and many players asking for things like this, so hopefully they will be added :)

I’m counting on that too

Seems like an interesting addition to add to the Ki-67 Otsu to make it more unique to the Ki-67 Ko.

I wish some of the early MCLOS glide bombs/Anti-Ship Missiles had the somewhat easier guidance of the PC-1400X bomb, as all of them are primarily used on bombers and historically guided from the bombardier’s position. That and there are some game restrictions when it come to render range and depth/range perception. (Maybe even just have a special marker for the missile telling you its range to you, like most targets?)

Technically, both Ki-67s should have received the Mitsubishi Ki-147 I-go Ko. The Mitsubishi Ki-67-I Otsu should be unique without it, due to its Ta-Ki 1 Model 2 air surveillance radar, which allows it to detect enemy aircraft. Gajin, for some reason, doesn’t model Japanese wartime airborne radars. The Nakajima B6N2 Ko from the game has the H-6 radar, which allows it to detect ships and aircraft. And the Mitsubishi Ki-67-I Otsu has the Ta-Ki 1 radar for aircraft detection.

Ah, true. Gaijin really disregards early radar and electrical avionics. We need a lot of surface search radar for naval attack aircraft and radar bombsights like the H2S and H2X properly implemented. I still think the Ki-67 Otsu should have the Ki-147 especially because of it’s radar, but I can see both sides of this argument.

Either way, we need more early avionics and radar systems properly implemented, and more…unique late-war weapons systems like the I-Go, which IMO would be a good “stand-in” for the MXY-7 Ohka (allied codename “Baka”)

Unfortunately, Japanese WW2-era guided weapons are very sparse, which makes it even more likely that both Ki-67s would have the Ki-147. The Ki-147 could only be used by the Ki-67 and, hypothetically, the G8N1. The Ki-148 could only be carried by the Ki-48 and Ki-102 Otsu. The MXY-7 Ohka could only be carried by the Mitsubishi G4M2e Model 24 Tei. The only Japanese WW2-era guided weapon that can be mounted on different aircraft is the Ke-Go bomb, but it can only be used in naval battles. I really don’t want the Ki-147 to be locked to just one aircraft (as unfortunately is the case with the Ki-148 now).

But there is no way to not be locked on one vehicle while only one vehicle used this missile

You know what I meant. I want the Ki-147 to be on both versions of the Ki-67. However, knowing the Gajin, we’ll get the Ki-147 on the premium Ki-67 for the low price of $50.

That’s understandable. History did kind of cut a lot of development programs short, and The Ki-147 (and Ki-148) should be on some Tech Tree vehicles, giving players more opportunities to use those systems.

yes as it will provide the means to break the AA supremacy of USA, UK, if you want to be nice Germany in naval. Also in ground it would be a bit of a meme but I hope we see more of these weapons in game like the German Mistel
