Mitsubishi Ki-109 Prototype no.1

This means that you can add Type 90 field gun shells for the Ki-109. Which gives the bullets also used in Chi-nu

Can you send possible shells for the Type 88 gun? I guess you have a better chance of summarizing them all

I wouldn’t be that surprised honestly. if the Shells were relatively close to the same size, both length and width then it’s probable.

I posted the specific document in one of my topics.

Doesn’t it mean that Type 95 can be used from Type 90 and Type 5 guns?

Penetration with Gaijin formula will be:
Chi-Nu - 75mm
Chi-To - 109mm
less pen than Type 1 but power of the round would be huge

Ho-Ni I uses Type 90 Field Gun, while Ho-Ni III and Chi-Nu use Type 3 Tank Gun, which is very much just a modification of Type 90 Field Gun. They already use the same ammunation in game.

About the Type 5 Tank Gun in Chi-To and others I can’t say for sure, although in game it uses 6.56kg AP, just like Chi-Nu and Ho-Nis.

I think Type 5 use the same rounds. There can be done report where only needed sources is:
source that Type 1 is version of Type 90
source that Type 5 use similar rounds as Type 1

I will search it a little bit later and report if found.

Certainly, the shells from the Type 88 gun will have higher penetration compared to the Type 90 gun because they are faster by about 40 m/s. (sorry for the ping to you, you were the first choice)

Big +1 Would be really good for Japan to get more strike aircraft like this!
