I don’t know about placements for the most part, but for how subtrees are done it’s very flawed right now.
Essentially Gaijin tries to use other nations to fix issues with existing ones and in exchange bring that new nation to the game. Decent concept, but done so bad that both nations actually suffer from it.
The “main” nation loses space, which could’ve been used for domestic additions, while the subtree becomes a second class nation that has a fraction of the potential it could have.
So subtrees right now are throwing out potential for everyone unless they decide to go back and rework them.
But enough off-topic now, this is once again a great suggestion from one of the most dedicated people here on the forum. The least Gaijin can do is honor it by implementing some of these 200+ suggested vehicles

Good work Grzegames you will be missed hopefully you will be continuing to suggest stuff on other parts of the form.
Maybe with infantry Gaijin might make a WW1 though 2 era. Change there mind with how the infantry line works. Soon the mods will have to add an infantry section to the forms so we will be able to suggest all the strange prototype weapons.
Good luck out there

I was thanking Grzegames and pushing him to continue just in a different section of the game if there are no Japanese planes.
Grzegames will be missed MeanBROSofD72805 as there are few suggestion writers like him. I should have added more context sorry.

Maybe he will post a rifle or something in the near future 🖖
Honestly, I don’t play War Thunder for the infantry. My reflexes are too slow (probably because anything above 7.3 is almost unplayable for me) for games with automatic weapons, so infantry won’t be enjoyable for me (it starts with the Cold War, so there will be a lot of automatic weapons). Additionally, Japanese infantry will probably be added a year or two after infantry is added to the game.

I bet they will also expand downwards…I also bet they plan on also adding WW1 eventually (April Fools event in addition to their new game). Have you considered making any WW1 suggestion if you got will and time of course : D
Gajin effectively killed my motivation to write suggestions. After the Q&A with BVVD, where they explicitly stated there were too many vehicles from the WWII and earlier Cold War eras, my motivation was killed. I’ve already had a few crises with writing suggestions where I had no motivation (for example, after adding Thailand), but after the announcement in the 8th community update, I knew what was coming. Gajin is now only interested in money, and WWII and Cold War vehicles don’t generate any. See the Malaysian addition; it’s three planes from the post-1990 period, no earlier aircraft.
I really don’t see the point in wasting any more time and money writing suggestions if Gajin doesn’t care. I’ve probably wasted over 2,000 hours on the forum writing suggestions.

I’m not abandoning the forum itself; I’ll continue to fight for the much-needed vehicles for Japan to finally be added. There are also 24 pending suggestions.

I understand that, I just think that WW1 will be added sooner or later and would be nice to see WW1 era and early 20 Japanese aircraft on forum. Thanks for all the suggestions you have written, it was always nice learning more about Japanese WW2 technology from you. o7

I wish WW1 planes would come, but I think its highly unlikely unfortunately, because it’s said they’re exclusively for that VR game
so was infantry for Enlisted…

Enlisted features infantry from the WW2 era. War Thunder will feature infantry from the Korean War-present day. Gajin will not limit his earnings from other games.

yes but that is VR game right? Which also features WW2 planes
why did J2M aircraft use Type 99 model 1 and model 2, why not just one or the other?
The J2M1 and J2M2 were armed with two Type 99 Model 1 cannons. Later, during the development of the J2M3, the armament was increased with additional 20mm cannons. The Japanese decided to continue using the older Type 99 Model 1s, as they had a large number of them, so they added two Type 99 Model 2 cannons with improved performance, although fewer were produced. Ko versions were developed for the J2M3, J2M5, and J2M6, armed with four Type 99 Model 2 cannons, but these were only prototypes.

Oh thanks truly appreciate that. Are there any Japanese reports of pilots complaining about the aiming or they were fine with it?
I don’t recall anything like that. Maybe @skultew1234 knows more about it.
